In reply to: BP-FBConnect Plugin
clompers: There was a little bug I found, but it’s fixed now and was causing your issue. Try logging in again, and you should get a new unique username. If you don’t have a public facing profile on Facebook, it won’t pull your name.
In reply to: BP-FBConnect PluginHmm – pretty strange, sounds like your cookie checks went a bit wonky. It could well be cache related. Let’s wait and see if anyone else has problems with that.
In reply to: Is it possible to have custom themes for groups? If you look in the table wp_bp_groups_groupmeta you will see that every group has a theme and stylesheet applied to it. This corresponds with the member theme used to display the group.
I can’t remember if I use the table to load the theme at the moment, but it should make it easy to have multiple themes that you can then pick for each group.
In reply to: Accepting friendship requestsUse the trunk, this is fixed.
In reply to: Where to start themingIt’s okay to do anything you want with the theme files, just as you would do in WordPress.
You don’t need the loader.php stuff if you don’t want to, however, it does add some extra functionality, such as cross theme CSS and the ability to selectively load styles.

In reply to: Group Members You May KnowAs long as you make a template function, then people can include it in their theme. I will add some hooks to the directories though.
In reply to: BuddyPress For WordPress (Not MU) ComingSupporting WP as well as WPMU will not slow down or change the development of BuddyPress at all. I just want to make that clear.
Supporting WP should (and will) be a matter of flicking a switch and continuing along the same roadmap. Most of that switch is already in place, the things I mentioned before are not really blockers, when all things are considered.
In reply to: How do I clear the menu bar?@bmg1227: The admin bar CSS adds: body { padding-top: 28px !important; } to make space for the admin bar.
Have you tried putting your background image on the html element?
In reply to: Group Members You May KnowCool – think you could turn it into a plugin?
In reply to: Comments not showing…Are you using the trunk, or RC-1?
In reply to: BuddyPress For WordPress (Not MU) ComingIt is coming, it won’t be in a few weeks though.
There are a few things to work out first –
1. Registration fields on the standard WP register page
2. Performance on a shared host
Other than that it already works with a few minor changes I’m yet to commit.

In reply to: Add Friend – not addingcdutoit: Do you have the firefox extension: firebug?
If not, install it, activate it for your site, click on the add friend link. Open up firebug and under the “Console” tab, click on the POST request. It should tell you what was returned from the server.
Please post that here.
