In reply to: [New Plugin] BP Advanced SEONice, thanks TJ. When I said I was looking forward to your releases, that’s what I meant
In reply to: Shabushabu.euI’ve just signed up as well. Looking good in terms of ui I think. Looking forward to the bp plugins then
Here’s something by rich that might fit Erich’s description: http://etivite.com/groups/buddypress/forum/topic/quick-tip-remove-send-invites-for-groups/
In reply to: Buddypress Feedback from my Members: 4 Problem AreasI agree with everything that’s been said here by @gregfielding.
In reply to: BuddyPress-Links 0.4.x Releases and SupportYes, done some testing. No bugs found yet, looks nice @MrMaz!
In reply to: Seo for Buddypress 1.0 betaNice. Btw. there are already a crazy amount of options…
In reply to: Seo for Buddypress 1.0 betaGood to see someone do stuff in the SEO direction, thanks Sven! One thing, after activating this
label {
font:bold 12px Verdana;
}messes with my dashboard making all labels bold in the backend. I don’t know wether I’m doing something wrong or the label should be targeted differently?
In reply to: BP BreadcrumbsSorry Dave but I’m not that advanced in programming language skills
In reply to: BP BreadcrumbsSame here, I’m not getting any results. I’d be interested to hear how to get the desired outputs?
In reply to: Invite Friends From ProfileDefinitely doing some testing in the next few days!
In reply to: Paid membership and subscription pluginsThanks for your thoughts on this topic conschneider, I agree that there’s a lot of things left to do in that space. Especially along with subscriptions there should be a possibility to define the user roles down to every single cap on the bp install. That’s what I’m waiting for and if anyone is trying to do that, you’ll have all my support (along with a small donation).
In reply to: Plugin: PmWiki in Buddypress.Ich glaube das wird nichts mehr, wenn Du Dir nur die letzten Postdaten anschaust.
You might wanna have a look at this here though: https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/plugin-release-buddypress-group-wikis
In reply to: Most effective/stable events plugin?Agreed, the proposal is pretty thorough. Looks like this would be a winner!
In reply to: BP Album+ || New Features Requests and DiscussionI’ll second (once again) what oneupdave says, for me the group album is also a very crucial feature, that’s when I’ll start using the plugin. Furthermore imo the /picture directory mentioned by tosh would be really sweet.
Yes indeed! Works as advertised!
In reply to: BP Album+ || New Features Requests and DiscussionSame here, looking forward to the group albums. I’m all up for small stable version of the plugin. Why would anyone seriously want a tweetmeme button in there though? That’s something that should be customly inserted if you ask me.
@Jivany thanks for the suggestion, though I’m still doing something wrong. Here’s what I have:
<li<?php if ( bp_is_page( BP_ACTIVITY_SLUG ) || bp_is_page( BP_MEMBERS_SLUG ) || bp_is_page( BP_GROUPS_SLUG ) || bp_is_page( BP_FORUMS_SLUG || bp_is_group() || bp_is_member() ) : ?> class="selected"<?php endif; ?>>In the php error log it says there was an unexpected
:slightly different question here:
how can you combine the if statements for “selected”, like for example the activity and the members and the groups into one statement? I’m guessing something like else if, but I haven’t got it working so far…
<?php if ( bp_is_page( BP_GROUPS_SLUG ) || bp_is_group() ) : ?>
<?php if ( bp_is_page( BP_MEMBERS_SLUG ) || bp_is_member() ) : ?>
<?php if ( bp_is_page( BP_ACTIVITY_SLUG ) ) : ?>In reply to: Buddypress needs "Site-Wide Editor" User RoleThis might also be a great solution here: http://justintadlock.com/archives/2009/09/17/members-wordpress-plugin
I think it’s easily extensible, for example gravity forms uses it’s power:
Role Management Integration
Gravity Forms is compatible with Justin Tadlock’s Members plugin for role management. Have granular control over what users can and can’t do within Gravity Forms.
In reply to: BP1.2 – How to remove parent theme functions?Just in case anyone’s got the same issue and doesn’t want the custom header function in their child theme:
define( ‘BP_DTHEME_DISABLE_CUSTOM_HEADER’, true );
add the snippet above in your functions.php
In reply to: Use Forums without Groups?Totally with Andy on this one here. When can we ecpect to see your implementation live?
In reply to: BP Album+ || New Features Requests and DiscussionLiking modemloopers idea. Just to have said something today as well.
In reply to: BP Album+ || New Features Requests and DiscussionSo since this is to discuss new features: I would like to see groups to be able to upload picture to a group album.
