What is for you the relation between a post owner and a friend ? Unclear….
Do you mean that only author’s friends can see the post author ?Your example page is blank.

To get this option, you have to activate the xprofile component.

If your WP use hungarian language, when you install BP, the BuddyPress translation comes automatically from translate-wordpress.org into wp-content/languages/plugins/, which contains also by default the askimet translation.
Also, php gettext use the compiled mo format to show a translation. The po file is only used to translate.

The activity tab cannot be removed actually, but you can hide it using CSS

All are reachable by the time stamp. Why should it be differently for post comments ?The read more sign[…] is used for excerpts. But is the excerpt an activity or only a way to not show long post, which IS the real activity (in this case) ?
In regard of the SWA logic, you acces to the post by timestamp, like you access to the other mentionned activities.

There’re over 15 action hooks on the register template (bp-legacy/buddypress/members/register.php)
If your goal is to add a notice or even a video, a welcome message or some other stuff, you can use these hooks ! Without any plugin or template alteration.
Write a function containing your custom content and add it to the hook.
For example, a welcome message above the register form:

Both snippets are working. If really not for you, double-check that bp-custom.php is correctly using open/close php tags and if your theme doesn’t use some custom rss functions.
To remove the All members button :

class='selected'to thelicontaining friends itemIf you remove the feeds display using the snippet, people won’t see anything even if they know the page url. And if this is not satisfying for you, you can write a rewrite rule to add to htaccess.
In reply to: Default Member TabsTab is called events, but you have to use the slug name, which could be different of the tab name. I don’t use that plugin, so can’t help you for this. Mouse-over the tab and see in bottom left corner of your browser what is the path. Probably something like locations or my-bookings…

Nice ! Continue and persevere, we’ve all beginned a day. Codex and forum are your friends.
I would like it for members of the site to be able to make there own sub blog which they can edit and add posts too etc. (Not a multisite)
Multisite means multiple blogs. If you haven’t setup a multisite, you can’t attribute sub-blogs to your members.
But you can allow them to publish on the existing blog. Change their role to author, and you’re done. To achieve this, best place to have good information is the WordPress Codex.
