The file buddydrive/includes/buddydrive-item-screens.php will probably help you to see how it’s made.

Translation goes throught php gettext module witch use the compiled mo file
Compilation is accomplished by the software (poEdit in your case).

The pot and the po files are “working” files, they are not needed on the server.
The pot contains all translatable strings
The po contains the translatable strings AND the translation
The difference is also in both file header. The pot has a blank summary, the po’s summary has some configuration informations. (path, author name, plural settings and DOM info)

The author answer means that the plugin works only with group forums ?!!!

So you have to search another rating widget who works with bbPress or create it yourself or to configure your buddypress to use group forums instead of a standalone forum.

But as bbP is fully post typed, have you tried to use the plugin’s shortcode ?

You maybe right, and i’m unsure too. The best way to know, is to give a try. But do you absolutely need to ask twice for the user email ?
Or you could simply name the email fields differently.

Step 7 explains how to make a 3 col grid on the members directory. Wouldn’t be difficult to transform in a 2 col grid i guess 😉

If you installed bbpress on WP, you have a standalone forum configuration ! So no matter if you installed it before BuddyPress. 😉

Have you group forums ?

What is the not working voting-widget plugin you speak about ? Give an URL please.

What BP/WP version do you use ?
What is your theme ?

hi @rsandilands,

no need to do this, because BP make each profile item clickable by default.
So if you click on a state name on a profile, this will bring up a user list who declared this state !
Perhaps add some explanation about this filtering to the field description (ie: click here to see other users living in this state) and you’re done ! 😉

I get the notice after modifying my avatar (Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in bp-members/bp-members-template.php on line 387)
But it disapear when I go on Edit profile.
