@Enlightenmental1

The task is simply adapting https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-in-one-video-pack/

front end on users profiles so that they can use it without going to the blog.

Am not sure on the developers capable hands, but we can ask for a demo site b/4 pay!

if you could do a better job at that price go for it and we shall pay?

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 6 months ago]

People whom are interested in this project.

The cost is $200

Therefore

We need 10 persons min for $20 each or 20 persons for $10

to start this.

How are we collecting the money via paypal or what?

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 6 months ago]

I\’ve noticed that virus issue on your site.

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 6 months ago]

TMDHosting account, I got an account and planning on using them for BP with refer to they blog.

They provide good support for me on my problems.

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 6 months ago]

Good news on this big task, I’ve managed to get a developer to adapt it for buddypress.

quote:”Good morning sir

we have analysed your system and we wish to notify you that it will cost you 200usd to get the job done. if you are ok with that please get back to us so we ask questions to come up with the SRS document”

Any questions lay them down now !

Also, we need to know method of payment & license issues with the plugin. ie GPL &

only persons whom chipped in can use it or what?

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 6 months ago]

Plugins installed in the plugins directory rather than mu-plugins can be activated and deactivated on all blogs with one click. Did you do that for BP and its plugins?

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 6 months ago]

Thanks for your themes..Can you adapt this theme as a member theme?

https://wordpress.org/extend/themes/p2

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 6 months ago]

@Xmike, Are you using it from the blog side or user profile under BP?

FYI for streaming video

http://www.streamincloud.com/

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 6 months ago]

@Madshark, I don’t think so on the features from Andy. Therefore some FB/php guru has to extend the FB-connect with features.

FYI

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 6 months ago]

Awaiting the member theme to look like new buddypress member theme ie one column.

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 7 months ago]

This would be good like an adobe air desktop app…

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 7 months ago]

I\’m abit confused on this, is it a buddypress API or what?

However, go for it ,any ETA?

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 7 months ago]

I’ve got TMDHosting account and I can say that their support is second to none when helping me out.

I rate them high !!!!

I shall stop wasting my time on AWS EC2 from now on…..

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 7 months ago]

@Xmike, What plugin are you using to upload images and from where ie user profiles in BP?

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 7 months ago]

@jeff, I\\\’ve taken a second look at this and did a monthly calc.

Here\\\’s my findings & you can check whether I\’ve missed any spec from the list.

AWS EC2 + S3

http://calculator.s3.amazonaws.com/calc5.html#

P.s I can’t put my figures in the calc. just need 5GB storage, small compute, maybe 1gb Data Transfer-in & out

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 7 months ago]

YES !!!! maybe add another page for your followers tweets..

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 7 months ago]

How about bbpress plugins in the forum working on buddypress CMS, would it happen?

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 7 months ago]

FYI

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 7 months ago]

Any update on this and maybe someone make a link button like FB-connect button too connect to the wp-login.php for sign in?

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 7 months ago]

There’s a correction on the headline topic. It should be CloudBerry not Cloudfront .

Please Andy or Nic can you edit the headline post?

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 7 months ago]

Amen to that, I hope Nicola & family are ok…

[@gpo1 Participant 17 years, 7 months ago]

@Jeff Sayre, Am interested in utilize Amazon\’s S3 for storage of all user uploaded media content.

Are you going to stream the media from Amazon\’s S3?

FYI

I’ve liaised with a developer about integrating Amazon S3 explorer as a buddypress plugin.

His comments ” I am ready to make a plug-in but I would like to know what can i get in exchange. Developing the plug-in is not an easy task and I will have to spend several $K of the company money to make it. I am interesting in promoting my CloudBerry Explorer. I would like to get an adequate reward in terms of marketing opportunities or I would rather spend this money somewhere else. What would you suggest?

“
