    >> just as it wants to enter into a user option does not find this page.
    Not clear what you mean. Can you elaborate further?

    >> The problem is also a list of users, one does not display. What may be the problem?
    If you already have users before installing BuddyPress, they need to log in at least once after the BP installation so they will be “recognized/recorded” and listed in Members Directory.

    Sure, you can change those by creating a language translation file https://codex.buddypress.org/extending-buddypress/customizing-labels-messages-and-urls/

    @ironjade Ok, I see what you were trying to get at. You need to fix alignment of the BP template pages in line with your theme’s HTML structure which you should go through after Appearance > BP Compatibility.

    To proceed with getting the HTML structure in line, open up your Ithaca theme’s header.php, copy all code, paste code in pastebin.com, click submit, then post the generated URL here. Do the same for ithaca theme’s index.php, page.php, sidebar.php and footer.php

    You’re welcome. Thank you for sharing your solution :-)

    Yes, registration is “off” by default. You turn on registration only if you’re opening up your site for public participation. To enable registration for a single WP site, go to dashboard menu Settings > General – Membership and click on box to allow registration.

    As to list bullet points and the BP elements extending past widths set, copy some or part of the style modifications for Twenty Ten child theme per link I gave at the end of the alignment instructions.

    B. Copy sidebar.php and Save As > sidebar-buddypress.php

    Open up sidebar-buddypress.php and at the top, above all code contained within, add this
    `

    <div class="”>`

    Then at the bottom, below all other code, add this:
    `

    jQuery(document).ready( function() {
    if ( jQuery(‘div#blog-details’).length && !jQuery(‘div#blog-details’).hasClass(‘show’) )
    jQuery(‘div#blog-details’).toggle();
    jQuery( ‘input#signup_with_blog’ ).click( function() {
    jQuery(‘div#blog-details’).fadeOut().toggle();
    });
    });

    `

    Save file.

    C. Upload header-buddypress.php and sidebar-buddypress.php to your theme folder in server wp-content/themes/denizen/ in the same directory where your regular header.php and sidebar.php are located.

    Final note: You might want to check out the style modifications to contain some BP elements as a guide https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/theme-dev-bp-template-pack-walkthrough-twenty-ten-bp-1-5/3/

    @udotorg Based on initial scan, to make your theme compatible with BuddyPress, you only need to create two new files, header-buddypress.php and sidebar-buddypress.php

    If you’ve revised any of the BP template files transferred to your evolution theme folder during the BP Compatibility process, please delete the 6 BP folders transferred to your denizen theme folder in server – activity, blogs, forums, members, groups, register – then re-run Appearance > BP Compatibility again to make sure that you have clean template files.

    A. Copy header.php and Save As > header-buddypress.php

    Open up header-buddypress.php and at the bottom of the file, below other code contained within, add this:
    `<?php
    $sidebar_layout=get_post_meta($post->ID,’kaya_pagesidebar’,true);
    $img_width=kaya_image_width($post->ID);
    //sidebar class
    $aside_class=($sidebar_layout== “leftsidebar” ) ? ‘one_third’ : ‘one_third_last’;
    ?>

    <div ID); ?>>
    <div id="post-” >

    `

    Save file.

    B. At the bottom of the same 16 files, replace:
    `

    `

    with the following (except for registration/register.php):
    `

    `

    with the following for registration/register.php:
    `

    jQuery(document).ready( function() {
    if ( jQuery(‘div#blog-details’).length && !jQuery(‘div#blog-details’).hasClass(‘show’) )
    jQuery(‘div#blog-details’).toggle();
    jQuery( ‘input#signup_with_blog’ ).click( function() {
    jQuery(‘div#blog-details’).fadeOut().toggle();
    });
    });

    `

    Save files.

    C. Upload the 6 BP folders containing the 16 files you revised up to your server wp-content/themes/clearphoto/

    D. You might also want to check out the style modifications made in BP Twenty Ten for reference especially with removing the bullets and bringing in the extended width of the BP elements. https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/theme-dev-bp-template-pack-walkthrough-twenty-ten-bp-1-5/3/

    @allentan there’s something awry with your installation if you keep giving me the code for the Group Directory Index when I ask for your Clearphoto theme’s index.php file. Assuming you have the original zipped file of your Clearphoto theme, I suggest that you delete the clearphoto theme in your server via Appearance > Themes > Clearphoto – delete. Then reinstall Clearphoto for a clean slate.

    Activate BP Template Pack plugin and go through Appearance > BP Compatibility process. Again, for a clean setup.

    Then download BP Template Pack folders in your theme’s folder in server – /activity, /blogs, /forums, /groups, /members, and /registration

    Based on the HTML structure of your theme, you’d need to use the first option, i.e., change 16 template files within the 6 BP folders transferred to your Clearphoto theme folder in server during the compatibility process.

    Download the 6 clean BP folders to your computer hard drive.

    A. At the top of each of those 16 template files I linked to above, replace
    `

    `

    with
    `

    <?php if ( function_exists('yoast_breadcrumb') ) { yoast_breadcrumb('

    ‘); } ?>

    `
    Save files.

    @ironjade not quite clear on what you mean, could you be more specific as well as give ways for us to replicate the issue. Is this happening on bp-default theme or a custom theme?

    @mercime

    Participant

    @frostdawn suggestion is to upgrade your BP Corporate Theme.

    If you feel like tackling the issue yourself, install two plugins: Log Deprecated Notices plugin and the Theme Check plugin. For the first plugin, you will see if there are deprecated template tags with the replacement template tags after a minute or so.

    For Theme Check, take care of the results posted with “Warnings” and “Required” items if any. No need to worry about the “Recommended” or “info” issues. if any

    What message? What theme are you using? Site URi? Testuser username and password?

    #1) – If the user clicks on the date of an activity item re a blog post, the user is brought to the single blog post .
    – If the user clicks on the date of an activity item re a forum topic, the user is brought to the forum topic page
    – If the user click clicks on the date of other activity items, the user is brought to members/single/activity/permalink.php page. You could add HTML structure just after get_header as well as just before get_footer.

    #2) You can tackle that by adding something this at the bottom of your stylesheet:
    `div.activity-header p a.activity-time-since {
    clear: left;
    float: left;
    margin-left: 15px;
    margin-top: -30px;
    }
    .activity-inner > p:first-child {
    margin-top: 20px;
    word-wrap: break-word;
    } `
    Adjust to taste

    Sure it was. Good practice to put a your own prefix to your special functions to avoid conflict with other functions which *might* have been named just ‘remove_group_member_tab’.
    If you prefer, you can change ‘locustfist’ to ‘mercime’ :-)

    @cornerstonecooking Not sure why it’s happening on your install, but please post at bbPress forums to resolve this issue as this is regarding the bbPress plugin albeit integrated with BP https://bbpress.org/forums/ log in with same username and password used here

    @locustfist To remove “Members” tab on Group Pages, per @boonebgorges BP 1.5 update: add the following to your theme’s functions.php
    `function locustfist_remove_group_member_tab() {
    bp_core_remove_subnav_item( bp_get_current_group_slug(), ‘members’ );
    }
    add_action( ‘bp_setup_nav’, ‘locustfist_remove_group_member_tab’, 15 );`

    To get rid of the member count of the Group Directory Page
    – download groups-loop.php from here
    – change line #61 from ` / ` to “ thereby removing the member count
    – upload groups-loop.php to your server wp-content/themes/your-theme-folder/groups/groups-loop.php

    BP Default theme has Log In widget on right sidebar as seen in http://testbp.org/
    In any case, unless you have a plugin that redirects login to front page, you can always go to either http://yoursite.com/wp-login.php or http://yoursite.com/wp-admin

    @mercime

    @allentan Next time, please identify which pastebin links to which theme file.
    Confirm – the 1st paste is header.php, the 3rd paste looks like index.php, the 4th paste looks like sidebar.php and the 5th paste is footer.php. Your 2nd paste is BP Groups Index page which I don’t need.

    Where is the paste for page.php file? If you want to use full-width, post code for the full-width page. If you want to you left or right sidebar, please post code of your preference.

    – WP/BP versions?

    – If you’re using a WP theme, did you install and activate the BP Template Pack plugin and go through Appearance > BP Compatibility? You should.

    – If you’re using a “BP-compatible” theme, have you checked if the theme’s been upgraded for the latest BP/WP versions?

    @horroruk and @abac1000, you’re missing the permalink.php file or have not made it compatible with BuddyPress by changing the HTML structure per compatibility process. After revision, permalink.php should be uploaded to your theme’s folder in your server and following directory structure like so, wp-content/themes/yourthemename/members/single/activity/permalink.php

    The http://dethuletræ.dk/forums/forum/forum-2/ goes to 404 page. Did you previously create the additional category and topic from the backend or frontend?

    Before anything else, to prevent the blank pages and 404’s on BP pages, you need to make your WordPress theme compatible with BuddyPress by installing and activating the BP Template Pack plugin then go through Appearance > BP Compatibility https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/wordpress-to-buddypress-theme/

    @udotorg two things before we begin with transformation, based on layout in Pages like the About page here http://templatesden.com/TF/WPCMS/denizen/about-us/
    :
    1. The BP pages title won’t have the same look as the title “About Us” in link above
    2. Do you still want the right sidebar included in the layout?

    Let me know.

    @tcbroonsie I have had no problems upgrading from single WP to WP multisite with BP already installed. That said, always back up database and server files before making major changes to your installation like so. That way, you can revert to single WP with your htaccess, wp-config.php, and DB backups if something goes awry. As the saying goes, if anything can go wrong, it will.

    Also, if you want to be “extra” careful, deactivate all plugins and change to Twenty Eleven before upgrading to multisite.
