In reply to: [Resolved] The member pages are missing
@zvi18 We are all volunteers here living in different time zones and try to help as many people that we can. You do not need to pay BuddyPress for anything. You are also free to hire a developer by posting at http://jobs.wordpress.net/ or somewhere else. Thanks.
In reply to: [Resolved] The member pages are missing@johnhome have you tried re-installing BuddyPress either in backend or via FTP?
In reply to: Login and New Account Creation issues@bjreszel Have you upgraded your installation since the designer turned over the site to you? if not, what are your WP/BP versions? Re login issues, have you done some basic troubleshooting like in this post https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/troubleshooting/
In reply to: messed up post dates@peipooh Strange. Have not seen this issue. You might want to do some basic troubleshooting https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/troubleshooting/
If that doesn’t work and if you are having issues only in your forums and not in blog posts or Activity Streams, etc. please post at the bbPress foruns. In reply to: Print Forum Post@bluellipse Sorry, not aware of any. Please do check/post at bbPress forums for possible solution/s.
In reply to: Can members add any post or blog to favouriteIn reply to: Friend request Issue!@arturol WP/BP versions?
I just checked the issues you mentioned as a regular user (not admin) in a site using the latest WP/Versions:
a) Friendship Request and Accepting
b) uploading and cropping updated avatar
and both are working fine.In reply to: Buddypress separate post in activity@levre Something got lost in translation, not quite clear what you mean. What I’m getting is that you have a WP Multisite installation and you have BuddyPress network-activated. I gather that you want separate instances of BuddyPress in that multisite installation. That is not possible at this time except through plugins see https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/4732
In reply to: Friend request Issue!@arturol WP/BP versions? What theme are you using? What plugins are activated?
Have you tried basic troubleshooting like deactivating all plugins except BuddyPress and changing to on of WP default Twenty-xx themes to check what’s causing the issue in your installation? In reply to: PHPBB to Buddypress@vaghar123 you’d need to install and activate bbPress forums plugin first, and then use their phpBB importer you’d find on this page https://codex.bbpress.org/import-forums/ If you have any issues regarding the import, please post at https://bbpress.org/forums/
In reply to: [Resolved] Help for THIS forumThis is about my accounts at buddypress.org, trying to understand how this relates to my account at wordpress.org, and how this all relates to Gravatar.
@playerzero BuddyPress.org as well as bbPress.org, etc., belong to the WordPress.org ecosystem. As you found out, you needed to set up an account/username and password at WordPress.org before you can log in here.
Re Gravatar.com account, make sure you use the same email address as you’re using for WordPress.org so that your gravatar will be associated with your persona here at BPorg, at WPorg, at bbPress.org, etc.As @henrywright and @bphelp mentioned above, you need to be more specific about what you want to find out. If it’s not appropriate for this forum, we’ll let you know. For example, what about BuddyPress.org do you need to know?
In reply to: Create Group Button can't be Found@baldemotions the “create a group” button is found beside the Group Directory title in regular WordPress themes. If you’re not seeing it in your theme, then theme could be using a proprietary tag for the page title instead of regular the_title tag. To remedy that, you’d need to contact theme author for resolution.
Your users can still create groups by using the “Create a Group” link in their user’s profile links in the WP admin toolbar on the upper right hand side.

In reply to: [Resolved] Simple styling@eddieb12180 glad you resolved styling of the registration form to your satisfaction 🙂
Marking this as resolved. In reply to: Unable to Register Users@sarahs91 there have been changes to both BuddyPress and WordPress. Have you done some basic troubleshooting like changing theme to Twenty Fourteen/Thirteen? If it’s still an issue, have you deactivated plugins other than BuddyPress to check which is causing conflict in your registration?
In reply to: [Resolved] Simple styling@eddieb12180 Did you even try adding the styles I provided above? Of course you can make some changes in the registration page’s markup. Copy over the register.php file from https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/2.0/bp-templates/bp-legacy/buddypress/members/register.php into yourchildthemefolder/buddypress/members/ folder and make the changes you want to html tags available there.
In reply to: [Resolved] Simple styling@eddieb12180 Add the simple tweaks below to your child theme’s stylesheet and adjust to taste. Basically, tame the styles of the descriptions and settings so it will be more visually pleasing.
