    BuddyPress does not include member galleries.
    You should submit your issue to the creators of the plugin or theme that you are using for member galleries.

    Again – please use the code button when posting code.

    Again – What is the context of your call to groups_get_groups() ?

    Are your groups hidden ?
    If so, try setting the show_hidden parameter to true in $args.

    The Phone Number field type does not validate for numbers.
    So it is working as it should.
    You will need to write your own validation code for that field.

    What are the $args that you are using when you call groups_get_groups() ?

    What is the context of your call to groups_get_groups() ?

    Please use:

    • the code button if you post code
    • punctuation in your posts so that it is easier to read your posts thereby increasing the chances that somebody will try to help you

    No worries.
    It’s tough enough for BP devs to find work and tough enough for potential clients to find experienced BP devs.
    So we want to allow at least requests for devs.

    It’s okay to place a call for devs here.
    It’s nice to see the occasional person who doesn’t want free work.

    Because there is no way to do a private message on these forums, typically we make sure the OP includes a method to contact them.
    Then we close the thread so that any discussion takes place elsewhere.

    @elichersky333 – how can you be contacted ?

    Please read my first post again – all the specifics are there.

    You don’t say which template pack you’re using… Depending on which you’re using:
    Find this file:
    buddypress\bp-templates\bp-legacy\buddypress\activity\index.php
    Or this one:
    buddypress\bp-templates\bp-nouveau\buddypress\activity\index.php

    Then find this code:

    	<?php if ( is_user_logged_in() ) : ?>

    		<?php bp_get_template_part( 'activity/post-form' ); ?>

    	<?php endif; ?>

    And change it to:

    	<?php if ( is_super_admin( get_current_user_id() ) ) : ?>

    		<?php bp_get_template_part( 'activity/post-form' ); ?>

    	<?php endif; ?>

    Rather than make the changes to the BP templates, use a template overload instead.

    You purchased a plugin and then posted a link to it here?
    What were you thinking?
    The creator of that plugin worked hard and now is trying to sell that plugin.
    What made you think it was okay to give it away for free?
    Did you ask permission of the plugin creator?
    The link has been removed from your post above.

    @prashantvatsh
    If you want to provide free support for premium plugins – please do it elsewhere.

    That includes posting the same topic in multiple forums.

    afaik, Bp Group Documents uses a custom table – not a custom post type.

    So search integration will require filtering the WP search SQL.
    And that is beyond the scope of these forums – therefore this thread will be closed.

    You can contact the plugin creator thru their support forum.
    You can find info on the web re filtering WP searches.
    Or perhaps you could hire a developer.

    This isn’t a BP issue.

    You need to find the code that LearnDash uses for displaying course comments.

    > … the point count and badges…
    You need to find the functions calls for that data. Look in the plugins that create and handle that data. For example, perhaps ‘points’ comes from myCred.
    Then use those functions to pull data into the markup for LearnDash course comments.

    You should ask LearnDash – they may have some specifics for you.

    You don’t explain the context of usage – iow. where are you trying to show it.

    bp_displayed_user_id() only works in the context of profile pages.
    So if your shortcode is called in that context, you don’t need to set author parameter.
    So you would call bp_displayed_user_id() in the function, not in the call.

    Or you could try using dot notation, something like:

    echo do_shortcode ( '[job-type author="'. bp_displayed_user_id() .'"]' );

    You should contact the creator of that plugin.
    Or ask your question on their support forum.

    If that plugin creates WP users, then BuddyPress will find all 200 members.
    And:

    • You will need to create BP profile fields and data for all those members
    • You could write a custom script to do that
    • You do not need to export / import a .csv

    The news Feed shows a filtered list of recent activities and is configured to show only a small number...

    So you are running some custom code that is not working with the ajax Load More ?
    You probably need to write your own functions for an ajax Load More.

    @shanebp

    You should be using the current versions of WP and BP.

    It sounds like your site is running some custom code that deletes or does not display activities with timestamps out of a certain range.

    Look at the admin page to see if those activities are actually deleted or just not being shown on the front-end: .../wp-admin/admin.php?page=bp-activity

    Deactivate any custom code re activities on your site.

    When I click on “private message” in another users profile I am redirected to my general “messages” page…

    Yes that is BP behavior. And I agree that it doesn’t make much sense.
    This plugin opens a pop-up instead: BuddyProfileMessageUX Free

    Interesting problem… I’ve never used that theme.

    Just curious – under settings /wp-admin/admin.php?page=bp-settings
    which Template Pack is selected? Try switching it.

    @shanebp

    Did you try just removing the calls to the nav from the template ?

    Since you mention ‘Member primary navigation’, I’ll assume you are working the bp-legacy templates.

    Open buddypress\bp-templates\bp-legacy\buddypress\members\single\home.php
    Remove: bp_get_displayed_user_nav();
    And perhaps: do_action( 'bp_member_options_nav' );

    @shanebp

    Moderator

    So it was working before you changed the file location?

    And now, the error is what exactly ?

    afaik, TEMPLATEPATH is deprecated.
    Try using get_template_directory() or get_stylesheet_directory()

    And bp_register_template_stack should be hooked on bp_init.

    On this page …/wp-admin/admin.php?page=bp-settings
    Under Group Creation, is box checked for Enable group creation for all users ?

    To find out if the issue is in the theme, try switching momentarily to a WP theme like 2016.
