i believe it is (applies to both questions)
so insertyourdomainhere.com/sites doesn’t show the site list? and insertyourdomainhere.com/members doesn’t show your users?
i actually never tried to disable 2010 or 2011 before now and i see that if you network disable either of those themes they do in fact remain active on already created sites but they can no longer be activated so once someone (or you) changes it they can cannot switch back.
glad to be a help!
i think that already exists the wordpress admin bar which is also the buddypress admin bar should show up for any registered user given the proper settings.
those versions seem very off I’m guessing you mean 3.4.2 for WP also you should be advised that the versions of BP and WP you seem to indicate are not in sync. i would not expect the two to work well together unless the version of BP you are using was released on the same date as or later then your version of WP.
sorry when i said can right there i should have said can’t sorry i’m a bit terrible at typing. so the whole thing should have read:
i think you could just make a password protected post then put the password inside a hidden group assuming you can’t put the actual content inside the hidden group.
sorry but i’m not very adept with such things
you don’t need to delete themes you just hit the network disable feature (wish they had that feature for plugins too).

it should allow you upload avatars no need to use gravatar unless they have a gravatar account and have not uploaded a custom one.
still not sure i understand how this is any different from favorite other then the name “like” i used to use that plugin cause someone requested it when we first built the site but when it stopped working i thought to myself “wait second why would i want redundant functionality anyway?” so i just erased it and moved on.
#1 yes they can only choose from the theme you enable and you can edit that theme to include whatever information you want i think you may need to do something to prevent them from editing the css though or they might be able to change stuff.
#2 that really depends on your situation/desires sometimes giving people too many options will cause them to not make any decision, other times choices equals freedom to create. If your value proposition is based on end user control and differentiation then you probably want to leave things as open as possible if your focus is on content and not presentation then you might want to restrict things. it is always better to give people new options rather then take them away so if your on the fence start out restricted and open things up according to your comfort.
#3 yes you can spam sites but you are also super admin meaning you can admin anything on any site.
It looks like WangGuard will do the job. It can detect spam users that has already been registered, it can report them and delete them from the system. It also prevents from registering at least those who has been reported before.
interesting gonna check that out could be a huge time saver thanks for the info!
If you are proficient at coding you may be able to figure it out, i couldn’t. the feature is going to be built into the next version of buddypress if you can’t wait and manage to figure it out please let me know cause i’d love to be able to do that as well.

you may want to check out membership from wpmudev.org but be advised it’s not free.
i’ve used SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam on a single install without issue, never tested with multisite though.
sounds like you folks aren’t seeing the crop tool handles that corner thing is how it starts out but you should be able to resize the square on the full thumbnail. i don’t really know more then that sorry.
from https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-like/
This plugin hasn’t been updated in over 2 years. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.
more info on possibly fixing it:
also, is there some reason why favoriting things is isn’t doing the same job for you already?
i think you’re going to need to be a little more specific about your issues.
you can create type of field you want you are only restricted by the types of entry methods there are.
the 2 things should work fine together as is. i don’t think you need to do any importing.
isn’t that a wordpress question? doesn’t seem like anything that’s specific to buddypress, your complaint.
i think 2 plugins every popular buddypress site should have are:
and

hope that helps!
awesome thanks!
thats a neat idea would be cool to add that as a standard option imo
