Take a look at https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-activity-share/ it’s not quite what you are looking for, but could be used as a starter?

Take a look at: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-better-emails/

Note to self – Remember to check out GitHub

Yep that fix is pretty much what I was suggesting

[@venutius Moderator 8 years, 9 months ago]

I’ve looked at BuddyPress Usernames Only and have come up with a fix for it. I’m trying to get in touch with the plugin author to see if we can push out a fix. If you are able to edit the plugin I can let you know what the fix is.

[@venutius Moderator 8 years, 9 months ago]

No worries, I think everyone does that.

[@venutius Moderator 8 years, 9 months ago]

It took and age to load mind, I’d take a look at that.

[@venutius Moderator 8 years, 9 months ago]

I’m getting a registration page, did you remember to logout before you went looking for the page?

[@venutius Moderator 9 years, 6 months ago]

If you install https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpfront-user-role-editor/ you will find that you have the option to display menu items to logged in users only.

You probably just need to copy the content of your old child theme buddypress directory into your new childtheme directory.

[@venutius Moderator 9 years, 7 months ago]

The plugin Invite Anyone would be worth exploring.

[@venutius Moderator 9 years, 7 months ago]

Take a look at https://wordpress.org/plugins/match-me-for-buddypress/ I think this is a good start.

[@venutius Moderator 9 years, 7 months ago]

That shortcode is not part of BuddyPress, you need to refer your request to the plugin developer for the shortcode, would that be BuddyDev?

[@venutius Moderator 9 years, 8 months ago]

That sounds like an error with the configuration of your Media plugin, not BuddyPress. There’s probably a setting somewhere for an upload limit per group or individual.

[@venutius Moderator 9 years, 8 months ago]

Change the name of Groups to Games?

[@venutius Moderator 9 years, 8 months ago]

Would you not use the favourites feature for that?

[@venutius Moderator 9 years, 8 months ago]

Do you mean you have created additional profile fields? If so BP Profile Search plugin would allow you to do that.

[@venutius Moderator 9 years, 9 months ago]

I’ve not seen anything with a pie charge, but for the raw data you could look at Dan’s plugin:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddymemberstats/

[@venutius Moderator 9 years, 9 months ago]

This sounds like it could be a conflict with other software loaded, have you tried disabling any other plugins? Also, it may be a theme conflict so you could try it running a default theme such as 2016.

There’s quite a few privacy plugins for BuddyPress, just search the WordPress Plugins directory for BuddyPress and Privacy

[@venutius Moderator 9 years, 10 months ago]

Thanks danbp, a simple solution!

[@venutius Moderator 9 years, 10 months ago]

Unfortunately that plugin throws a lot of errors and no longer seems to be supported

[@venutius Moderator 9 years, 10 months ago]

It was a typo on my part

[@venutius Moderator 9 years, 10 months ago]

Ah I see, thanks Dan

[@venutius Moderator 9 years, 10 months ago]

have you tried this?
