if you use 1.6.4 and bbpress 2.2.4 as plugin as standalone forum , there are no more bbpress tables as in previous BP versions. And the interacting between BP and bbP is poor.
If you use BP 1.7 beta and bbpress plugin 2.3 beta, there are no tables too. But the interacting between BP and bbPress is much much better.But unfortunatetly, you have to wait a little for both stable version to get somehow what you want…

you have to activate BP only once, on the main site.
The main site is the WP declared as network. In the network admin you install BP as plugin. And BP would only be managable from within the network admin. And that’s right so !
Now this site is network enabled and is using BP. If you want install other blogs, do so from your network admin. Those blogs are all included into BP activities. There is no need to install BP on each secondary blog. This cannot work.https://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_Multiple_Blogs

Assuming you used xprofile component to do so.
You have to enter the correct profile field name. This means the name, in fact the field title, you entered when you create the profile field.
Probably “Company” or “Your company” or something readable for your public.
In BP 1.7/bp-default/members/members-loop.php:67 there is an example who explains this too.

*/You can also create a function to insert a do_action in the members-loop.
In the function, intented to work outside of the profile loop, you need the user id and the xprofile data

the bp_get_options_nav filter doesn’t output the span:

i had the same issue on my test site with BP 1.7b1 / wp 3.5.1 and the theme Roots. This theme is depending of legacy template witch is animating this part through buddypress.js
The affected div is whats-new-options
To avoid the scroll, I increased the heigth of jq(‘#whats-new-options’) from 40 (by default) to 60
Go to /buddypress/bp-templates/bp-legacy/js/buddypress.js and do the change at your need, line 26 and 43

This is typically a wordpress question. BuddyPress is only a plugin for WP.are most buddypress enabled plugins compatible with 1.7?
BP is still in beta and feedbacks are low at the moment, so you have to test this yourself like we all do actually or wait the stable release and give some delay after for the same reason

Also have you set define wp_lang to your language in the wp-config file ?
If you have a multisite install, you have to double-check if your language is defined in the WP general settings.
If you don’t understand what i’m writing, go to the codex and read the chapter dedicated to BP in your language

Your issue could be theme dependend. Have you tested with bp-default ?
In reply to: BuddyBar Links Wrong?No this is the normal behaviour. The ToolBar top right menus are “Your Account” access menus.
Before BP integrates the WP ToolBar, the plugin had is own toolbar (ak buddybar). On this “old” bar, those menus where all under a label “your account”, on the left. Since this bar is disabled, the account access menu was migrated at this place.
Global activity or global group access or forums buttons are all on the menubar. (if your theme use a menubar !)

And yes, i know about what you mean 😀I noticed that none of your URL end with a slash as it should be usually on BP sites. It’s not the problem but perhaps the visible part of the dark side.
Have you forgot some old/unused custom rules in the htaccess ?
Or a corrupted file in BP core ?I would suggest to reupload a fresh copy of BP to be sure.

have you set your permalinks, as recommanded, to something other as default path ?
Have you old pages in the trash with identical names as the online pages ? If yes delete them definely ?
Are all pages appering on the BP settings page tab ?
Each BP option you use should have is own page. (xprofile, forums, etc) Is this the case ?thanks @sbrajesh
