In reply to: Filter Buddypress Page Titles and extended profiles
@marjwyatt is it just the page title on the members directory you’re having problems with? Can I ask what page title you are getting for the following pages:
- members/username/activity
- members/username/
Is there a hook/filter that I can use to change these default titles?
Yes, there sure is.
bp_modify_page_titleis the filter hook you’ll need. If you need any help writing your filter function just let me know.In reply to: Filter Buddypress Page Titles and extended profilesHi @marjwyatt
I noticed your question was very detailed so wanted to make sure @webauthor had the exact same problems before attempting to help.
In reply to: Audio Playlist for BuddyPress members@hannahcaswell As far as I am aware rtMedia is going to be the closest plugin you’ll get to helping you achieve your requirements. If the problem is just how the audio is presented then perhaps try looking into how you can change the display via CSS. If you’re not comfortable with CSS then could you think about changing your theme?
In reply to: Filter Buddypress Page Titles and extended profiles@webauthor this is quite an old thread so the original problem might not be happening now. It might be worth posting the issues ‘you yourself’ are experiencing – then hopefully somebody will be able to offer a solution.
In reply to: Releasing a theme – Best practicesYou could try posting a link to a demo of your theme in https://buddypress.org/support/forum/your-buddypress/ asking anyone to provide you with some feedback…
In reply to: Releasing a theme – Best practicesYou’d release your theme through the WordPress Theme Directory (or you can make your theme available privately – through a GitHub repo for example).
There will be a theme review process if you plan to release through the Theme Directory. Take a look at this for more info:

In reply to: [Resolved] Show posts written by user on profileHi Justin
The way I would tackle post pagination on BP profile pages would be to use
paginate_linksSee:

In reply to: Registration form on the homepageHi @sadeghr,
Answers to what question? Sorry I’m not fully understanding.
In reply to: private message – not privateThe ticket seems to be resolved? Read the last reply from the original poster. Would that solution help you?
In reply to: Best way to enable facebook login?Do you have a link to Social Login?
In reply to: private message – not privateCertainly a problem, but not necessarily a bug. Can you try deactivating all plugins aside from BP to see if the problem persists?
In reply to: Registration form on the homepage@sadeghr OK great! 🙂
In reply to: Registration form on the homepageI want to Registration my index page I put the code below
I don’t understand?
In reply to: Registration form on the homepageHi @sadeghr
In your WordPress dashboard – set your ‘static front page’ to your ‘Register’ page.
As @shanebp said, I think you might need to be using 2
forloops to handle cases when$notifications[$i]is of typearrayDoes the code you’re using display any notifications? i.e. is it just the bbPress notifications that are not displaying?
Hey @m1000
I’m not sure using BuddyPress functions will work for bbPress? Could be wrong though!
I can’t figure out how to get this working. It’s actually been on my ‘todo’ list for weeks but I can’t seem to crack it. I even opened a bounty on the problem on Stack Overflow 4 days ago 🙂
Any hints on what I should be doing to make the crop preview image fluid? 🙂
You could try updating to Bootstrap v3. It’s mobile first and in my opinion makes everything work so much smoother. I updated from v2 to v3 as soon as v3 dropped, and am glad I did!
In reply to: 2.0 top features – ideas@buddyboss if you’re not happy with the notification tables then you can remove the default and add your own. e.g:
remove_action( 'bp_notification_settings', 'messages_screen_notification_settings', 2 ); // remove the rest too...function custom_notification_settings() { // your own custom stuff } add_action( 'bp_notification_settings', 'custom_notification_settings' );In reply to: Show notification bubble somewhere else@xwafflecakes since BP 1.9, you should have dedicated notifications pages at
members/username/notifications/andmembers/username/notifications/read/Do these help?
Regarding the notifications ‘bubble’ in the admin bar – you can output the number of notifications a user has like this
echo bp_notifications_get_unread_notification_count( bp_loggedin_user_id() );In reply to: Font colour on Buddypress pages@houndlounge great to see you managed to find a solution but, just be aware with that particular solution, if you upgrade BuddyPress your changes will be lost
In reply to: Font colour on Buddypress pages@hnla i should really be more thoughtful when and where i use
!important– you’re right, perhaps it’s being lazy to use it in this case.In reply to: Font colour on Buddypress pagesTry
body { color: #000 !important; }
