Could very well be some missing closing or extra one. Which of the two methods did you use for Step 3? Changing 16 BP template files or using header-buddypress.php etc?
In reply to: Buddypress and ThemeTwenty Eleven?Check out the images I posted on this page after Postlude https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/theme-dev-bp-template-pack-walkthrough-twenty-eleven-bp-1-5/3/
Those are the basic adjustments added in stylesheet which you can further adjust to taste.

@marcycapron you’re welcome. glad it worked out for you
In reply to: [Resolved] BuddyPress On All My Blogs?Allow BuddyPress to function on multiple blogs of a WPMU installation, not just on one root blog:
`define ( ‘BP_ENABLE_MULTIBLOG’, true );`
see https://codex.buddypress.org/extending-buddypress/changing-internal-configuration-settings/Note that there’s only one instance of BuddyPress for a whole multisite install. So if you enable multiblog, what shows up in yoursite.com/members is the same that shows up in e.g. subdomain.yoursite.com/members
Installation Wizard Step 2 – https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/setting-up-a-new-installation/buddypress-1-5-installation-wizard/
or
Configure BP components – https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/configure-buddypress-components/#bp-pagesMarking this as resolved then

They look different because you’re looking at 2 different instances of bbPress. You’ve installed the Sitewide Forums (aka bbPress 2.0+, the plugin) while that Mingle theme shows the Group Forums (aka internal bbPress). See https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/installing-group-and-sitewide-forums/

@funkisockmunki if you change to bp-default theme and clear cache, does the problem persist or is it corrected?
I’ve added some screenshots at the bottom of the tutorial https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/theme-dev-bp-template-pack-walkthrough-twenty-eleven-bp-1-5/3/ so you could see how to see how the basic set up turned out.
– Do not disable the bp.css in the compatibility process.
– Did you add the styles suggested on page 3 of the tutorial to your child theme’s style.css file?
– Site URL would help us to see what’s going on.In reply to: Admin bar options in wordpress menuThat’s already happening in BuddyPress trunk version
In the meantime, you might want to try this out – http://www.michaelkuhlmann.com/tutorials/customizing-admin-bar/Great. Marking this as resolved
In reply to: [Resolved] Need help with members-loop.php CSSSite URL?
In reply to: Buddypress and ThemeTwenty Eleven?Sure, BP does work with Twenty Eleven and BP Template Pack. https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/theme-dev-bp-template-pack-walkthrough-twenty-eleven-bp-1-5/
You said it, something went awry in your theme’s functions.php when you updated/revised it. Revert to previous/original version of theme’s functions.php
Simplest way: On lines 38 and 42 of https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/1.5.1/bp-themes/bp-default/blogs/blogs-loop.php try changing
“
to
`/blog`So if you’re using a bp-default child theme, create a folder named blogs and copy over blogs-loop.php over from bp-default theme and make the changes. If you used BP template pack plugin, open up the file in blogs folder transferred to your WP theme.
