In reply to: Is there a plugin for sitewide comments?
@skcsknathan001, second what @Andrea_r said. The plugin’s working very well in WPMU 2.9.2 with BP 1.2.3 using subdomain structures. I haven’t tested this yet in installs with subdirectory strucutres, but since all your other MU plugins – Ada Recent Posts, Ada List All, etc – work well in both structures per my experience, I don’t foresee any problems

In addition, kudos for adding an admin page for this plugin at Site Admin > Ada Site Feed to make it easier for others to input the correct feed URL’s
The plugin’s full-feed also included the first five thumbnails of images I uploaded via BPGallery rc4 and published to activity stream – very cool. Many thanks again..
There is a hack to core BP files which can be turned into a plugin (hint, hint) which works in BP 1.2.3 and WPMU 2.9.2 …
Don’t see any comment number or doubling thereof in the line

Hi Gibby, change your theme back to bp-default theme, could very well be that your customization is not working out. It would help if you let us know whether you’re on WP or MU, and version of WP/MU and BP plus other info.
In reply to: Adding meta tags to the headerYou could create a child theme, copy the header.php file from parent theme and add the meta directly, save to child theme folder.

P.S. I saw my sidebar drop down when I was testing the updated BP Events plugin.
In reply to: Members Profile and Activity is not behavinghtdev, looks to me that your customization of bp-default with bp-sn-parent (saw the groups directory) is not yet completed or totally implemented. Change your theme to bp-default theme and you will see the links.
edit – I was just 4 seconds slower than r-a-y
In reply to: bp-events plugin ported to 1.2.x ?There’s another BP Events solution for BP 1.2+ per this topic
Cheers.
In reply to: Install on MU or regular WP?@kalico, I’ve used the plugin and I suggest you install the plugin in WPMU where it’s sure to work.

@stwc – might be a bug somewhere. Instead of using
<?php locate_template( array( 'forums/index.php' ), true ); ?>try copy and paste code directly to your Home Page Template https://trac.buddypress.org/browser/tags/1.2.3/bp-themes/bp-default/forums/index.phpCool one rsqst, will the Ursuline nuns be accepting male, or female guests only, at the convent?

Hmm, perhaps it would be better to add the WP regular home/front page conditions to the mix, have not used template pack before in project.
.
<li><?php if ( is_home() || is_front_page() || bp_is_page( 'home' ) || bp_is_front_page() ) : ?> class="active"<?php endif; ?>><a href="<?php echo get_option('home') ?>" title="<?php _e( 'Home', 'buddypress' ) ?>"><?php _e( 'Home', 'buddypress' ) ?></a></li>In reply to: Forum tags – I can add them, but can't see them“there is no way to edit topic tags once you have added them … “
I agree – https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/2281
In the meantime, I just added the necessary code and brought it over to my child theme.
These things come to mind
1. Did you move BP installation from blog_id_1 to blog_id_2 during development or was your BP installed in blog_id_2 at the onset? I came across some cases like that while browsing online. Will have to search for those … just scanned over the info because those issues were not relevant to my installs, but what I recall is moving some folders in server and some DB manipulations.
2. GD Library – when you upload images in posts/pages, does your install generate the 150px x 150px and 300px x 300px etc?
Check if wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/2009/12/ has original-image.jpg, original-image-150×150.jpg, original-image-300×300.jpg … because if it’s not generating thumbnails in regular media upload in posts/pages, then that might be the reason why it’s not cropping in your install and you might want to contact your hosting about GD library
