WP/BP versions? Are you using a child theme of the BP Default theme?
In reply to: changing the headerclosing duplicate of https://buddypress.org/support/topic/changing-the-header/
In reply to: Member and group widget@designnz What theme are you using? Is this a BP-ready/compatible theme or a regular WP theme where you had to install the BP Template Pack plugin?
In reply to: Adding pages and slugsYou would want to look at how creating pages, slugs, along with front-end posting are done within the member’s profile section in theBuddyBlog plugin. It’s a bit more than what you need, but you’ll get the drift when you look at the code.
In reply to: [Resolved] buddypress.css not working properly?@cikez Glad you resolved the issue and thanks for posting back on what caused it 🙂 Good to know that theme compat is working even in Artisteer themes.

In reply to: How to ensure my blog doesn't send my traffic away?ability to selectively take posts from sub-sites and repost to the main blog
@ubernaut Didn’t need that feature. It was automatic posting to main site/site of choice from all subsites. I install it, configure it a little, that’s that. For what you want, check out https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/threewp-broadcast/screenshots/
In reply to: Install failure with large user baseWhat hnla said. You’d probably need to upgrade or find another hosting company which could provide solutions.
@bphelp not exactly, but check out http://buddydev.com/plugins/buddypress-notifications-widget/
In reply to: [Resolved] Logged-In User Profile Link URLIn reply to: Basic Margin and Sidebar adjustmentIf the styles.css is pointed to functions.php, would this just be added there?
Not sure what you mean. You add the style changes in your child theme’s style.css file.
@akgt glad it’s working out for you now. strange it happened in the first place.
In reply to: BP 1.7 Beta 2 – Template Parts?@qrahaman similar to pollyplummer’s tutorial at http://wpmu.org/how-to-create-a-custom-buddypress-members-directory/ where make the element float left with right and bottom margins. Good luck

WP/BP versions? Theme used? Which BP menu? Please be more specific about your intallation.
In reply to: 1.7 can't see buddy press layouts in my theme@carlh1 Change to Twenty Twelve theme and check out if BP pages are showing up. If it is, then it’s your theme, and you should contact the theme author.
EDIT – they also have another theme “Rounders” with same issue https://buddypress.org/support/topic/bp-template-pack-step-3-2/In reply to: [Resolved] Logged-In User Profile Link URL@bookee is this related to the login link you wanted in other post?
In reply to: BuddyPress Alignment with custom themea member login menu that would take the registered users to a login form similar to the form on the sidebar. Hope that makes sense.
@bookee you can create a page template with only the login form code you copied then go to Pages > Add New, add Page Title e.g. Join Us, then use the page template with the login form you created. Or, you might want to try out pcwriter’s tutorial http://wpmu.org/how-to-build-a-facebook-style-members-only-wordpress-buddypress-site/
