In reply to: Forum page is redirecting to home page
@dcyweb If you click on the Register link while you’re logged in, then the default behavior is a redirect to home page. Log out first.
As for your Forums page, which forum did you activate? Group Forums, Sitewide Forums or both? https://codex.buddypress.org/user/setting-up-a-new-installation/installing-group-and-sitewide-forums/
In reply to: Can't overcome mobile issuesSite URL?
In reply to: friend request button not wworking@ajim808 WP/BP versions? Could be that your theme needs to be upgraded or that there’s a plugin conflict, it all depends. What theme/version are you using? Have you contacted theme author?
In reply to: Should ALL BP plugins be network activated?@voopress as posted in the other topic about the same subject, some BP-compatible plugins require sitewide activation and others for only one site. Read the plugin’s documentation.
In reply to: Bit confused about BP aggregation@voopress There are some BP-compatible plugins which must be activated sitewide and there are those which could be activated in the BP site only.
For example, BP gallery/media plugins must be activated network-wide so that whatever is uploaded in BP site can be retrieved in member blog sites via shortcode/s. A BP group plugin on the other hand, could just be activated in only the BP site. So check the plugin documentation to be clear if it must be activated sitewide or can be activated in the BP site only.
@patrykos360 No. Open up your theme’s header.php file, copy all code, paste in pastebin.com, click submit, and post the generated URI here. Do the same for your theme’s page.php, index.php, sidebar.php and footer.php files.
In reply to: Group Mods can't access group adminIn reply to: [Resolved] Forum Redirects to Home@diondeville You’re welcome 🙂
@tarkham can’t quite get what you mean.
>> bbPress slug = sitewide forums = discussions right? So example.com/discussions
>> So if you kept the slug of group forums = forums, then example.com/forums
Why would you redirect the URL of either to another?@imath Tested latest version and it’s good to go! Many thanks 🙂
In reply to: Moving site wide forum topics to BuddyPress Groups@limitx3m The BP group forums will be merged into the bbPress sitewide forums in upcoming BP 1.7. Please hold off conversion to group forums at this time.
In reply to: Standard profile fields cleared on BP profile saveJust check in your file that per link I posted, the line of code with the green highlight is there

In reply to: [Resolved] Missing Buddypress menu in WP DashboardYou’re welcome 🙂 Marking this as resolved.
In reply to: Buddypress + Multisite, Add New Site Option@myladeybugg you’re welcome 🙂
In reply to: Problem with creating new blog@myladeybugg you have a different issue. Your WP is installed at http://domain.com/blogs/ hence the answer here https://buddypress.org/support/topic/buddypress-multisite-add-new-site-option/
In reply to: Buddypress + Multisite, Add New Site OptionI installed wordpress multisite into domain.com/blogs
@myladeybugg just to be clear, you installed WP in subdirectory at example.com/blogs and BuddyPress is installed at main site of WP at example.com/blogs, right? Then Blogs directory page should be at example.com/blogs/blogs (assuming your blogs page name is blogs). Or did you install BP in a secondary blog of your multisite installation e.g. example.com/blogs/site2?
Also BuddyPress must activated sitewide in Network Admin. If you did so, go to Settings > BuddyPress > Components, is your Site Tracking checked?
In reply to: Buddypress + Multisite, Add New Site Option@myladeybugg That button/link only shows up for multisite installations and it shows up right beside the page title of the Blogs Directory page e.g. Blogs
In reply to: Changing Colors to Match Custom Theme?@unwoundmag you can add the following to your theme’s style.css file

}`Adjust color to taste
In reply to: Standard profile fields cleared on BP profile saveThe issue was fixed in BP 1.6 https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/4362 Could you check your wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-xprofile/bp-xprofile-classes.php to check if your BP was upgraded properly?
In reply to: [Resolved] Missing Buddypress menu in WP DashboardMissing Buddypress menu in WP Dashboard
BuddyPress menu no longer has a main menu but is now located in wp-admin Settings > BuddyPress

In reply to: Standard profile fields cleared on BP profile save@scoobydoobydoo I’ve seen this issue before with old BP version and another one with a theme which has not been updated for some time. What are your WP/BP versions? Are you using BP Default theme?
In reply to: Activity story aligning@ciumbargi know that those who help out in these forums are all volunteers who generously do their best to assist others even though they are not paid to do so. It is indeed unfortunate that you see an advice about how to find the correct selectors in different browsers as a negative even after some assistance was already given for what was not quite clear in the request.
As I see it, the issue is resolved in your site viewing it using Firefox. If it is not, then I advise you to post at the Pagelines forums and include info about what browser you’re using so that they can fix it … thereby benefiting the rest of the Pagelines customers.
Have a nice day.
In reply to: Crop Avatar ProblemIn reply to: Groups Directory Page is Missing@ebraxton30 thanks for posting back as to what caused the issue in your installation
In reply to: Bbpress page alighnment issue@raminkhan Please bring this to the attention of the theme author by posting at theme’s support forums at https://wordpress.org/support/theme/frisco-for-buddypress It would be good if you can attach a screenshot of the issue or barring that, be more specific about your description of the issue.
