Hi there, Each profile field has a profile visibility option, you can either force this to be Only Me or you can allow the users to select this option for themselves.
Hi there, if you look in Profile Fields you will see it is showing the default profile group called Main, this is the registration profile group and all profile fields you add to it will be included in the registration form. You can create other profile groups and place your fields in there.
In reply to: Deleted profile field reappearing againOriginally, did you decide to add it yourself? IF so then you should be able to delete it. Might be worth looking at the bp_xprofile_groups database table to try and get some clues as to what is going on.
Also, I’d try deactivating all other plugins to see if that fixes it – something might be preventing the database SQL delete action.
In reply to: Deleted profile field reappearing againPresumably there’s something re-adding this after you have deleted it, was this added as part of a plugin?
In reply to: Noindex Buddypress usersCheck out this – https://buddypress.org/support/topic/noindex-tag/, instead of is_buddypress() you could use
bp_is_user_profile() || bp_is_user_activity() || bp_is_user()to tell if the current page is a profile page.In reply to: Groups add new 404 Not FoundThat’s odd the url’s that work contain index.php, if it were the other way round I’d say that’s where your problem lies and it’s probably a clue. However my rewrite rules include index.php and I don’t get that, I thought that was a fallback.
But I reckon the fault is elsewhere, did you try deactivating all plugins apart from BP?
In reply to: Search / Filter Activity by MetaThe sitewide activity filter only works on activity types and the default search only looks in the activity content so that’s not a simple ask.
In reply to: Hide group nav items based on group typeYou’d have to write your own for that, you’s need to remove the nav in question then add it again depending on the member type.
In reply to: commenting make new activity post.Yep I’d ask rtMedia about it in the first instance
In reply to: Enable One session per userI thought you might like to know I tested http://scripthere.com/how-prevent-multiple-login-with-same-login-credentials-in-wordpress/ and it seems to work. Whilst it seems to allow the second login any clicking on links takes you back to logged out status.
In reply to: commenting make new activity post.Hi there, Just tried commenting on an activity item with WP 5.2 and it’s working fine at this end. I suggest you first rule out any other plugin issues by deactivating all of your plugins apart from BuddyPress and try it again. What version of PHP is your site using?
In reply to: Groups add new 404 Not FoundWhich permalink option are you using? did you try resaving your permalinks?
/wpit/index.php looks right to me.
In reply to: Move subnav tabsHi there, the cover image is not working due to the js for it not being loaded. try adding something like:
function bpex_core_cover_image_scripts() { global $bp; if ( $bp->current_component != 'settings' ) { return; } // Enqueue the Attachments scripts for the Cover Image UI. bp_attachments_enqueue_scripts( 'BP_Attachment_Cover_Image' ); } add_action( 'bp_enqueue_scripts', 'bpex_core_cover_image_scripts' );In reply to: Groups add new 404 Not FoundIf it’s just the Add New group page that’s giving the 404 it’s unlikely to be your .htaccess rules unless you have previously edited them.
What solutions have you tried?
In reply to: Deletey my feed onlybp_activity_user_can_delete()should d that for you looking at the code, it returns true if the user is the author of the activity or if the user has bp_moderate capability.In reply to: Mention AutosuggestionHi there, have you tried asking the plugin author about this? I believe Robin’s still active.
In reply to: Edit User menuThere’s two user menu’s, there’s the profile pages themselves – these are created and removed using the pfp functions
bp_core_new_nav_itemandbp_core_remove_nav_item.Then there’s the WP Admin menu that drops down fron the top right hand side of the screen, these items are created and deleted by manipulating the
$wp_admin_barglobal variable.If you search these forums for any of those terms you should find examples of how these are used.
In reply to: Include multiple xProfile fields in members loopTry replacing these lines:
$custom_ids_str = 'include=' . implode(",", $custom_ids); return $custom_ids_str;with:
`$custom_ids_array = array( ‘include’ => $custom_ids, ‘exclude’ => $user_id );
return $custom_ids_array;In reply to: Finding Themes!In reply to: Enable One session per userThis is more of a general WordPress query as WordPress manages the user sessions. I’ve had a look and there seems to be a lack of information on how to do this.
I found these links that may help:

https://www.wpsecurityauditlog.com/wordpress-admin/limit-manage-users-sessions-wordpress/How prevent multiple login with same login credentials in WordPress ?
In reply to: Remove Confirm Password from RegistrationHi there, What BP Theme are you using? For BP Legacy you could get around this with the following code:
function bpex_password_validate() { if ( isset( $_POST['signup_password'] ) ) { $_POST['signup_password_confirm'] = $_POST['signup_password']; } } add_action( 'bp_signup_pre_validate', 'bpex_password_validate' );This is what I see on all sites when all options are enabled:
http://buddyuser.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/screenshot.png
Not according to your screenshot, they are listed yes, but the checkbox to enable them is empty.
In reply to: Move subnav tabsIt would help if you added your code, then we could see what you were trying to do and suggest alternatives.
Hi there, I’m thinking you must have fixed this as I’m not getting any issues connecting to your registration page.
