If you can supply a link with a list to your countries cities then I will try to help you out.In reply to: walled garden and bbpress@valuser
Hey thanks for spotting the bug. I just updated the plugin to 1.4 so read the readme.txt and install it to check and see if the added code takes care of the issue. Thanks!

I don’t use the buddypress activity plus plugin but I would assume it is js that conflicts with your theme. Maybe it loads jquery from google instead of the included js in WP in the header which you should be able to comment out or remove. But maybe you should contact the theme author to see if they will be willing to test and help you sort it out to be safe. I don’t use this theme or plugin so take what I am saying as speculative because I may be wrong. In reply to: Photo Editing Plugin for Buddypress?@naturalworldstm
Do you have a link to the particular plugin version as there has been confusion over which bp-media plugin is being used in previous forum topics which is not your fault. Its just the name conflict by the developers is confusing to others so please supply @ludachrisgsx with the link to the plugin you are suggesting. Thank you for your help! šIn reply to: Buddypress Activity Plus not Working@rrhyox
This is a third party plugin that has not been updated in a while so you may want to request support on the WPMU DEV forums as well. When WP 3.6 comes out It is supposed to support native audio and video support but I am not sure how or if that will be integrated within the buddypress activity post. If so it will be awesome! Hopefully someone else may shed some light on this. š@billy-not-happy
As @hnla already explained thoroughly and @mercime has bent over backwards to accommodate more than I would have given your demeanor, you still refuse to see this community is made up of volunteers and not discounting the need for better codex documentation on certain issues but the bottom line is there is lots of people that had to work their butts off and learn some degree of coding trying to figure it out and they gained more knowledge by doing so. Most of these volunteers have families and other obligations to tend too and your sense of entitlement for a priceless piece of software is very disrespectful to all the hard work these folks put in with no compensation especially with the comments:Respect is EARNED
&
While Iām new to Word Press, Buddy Press, bbPress I am a seasoned computer user, programmer, with over 30 years experienceWell let me tell you earning respect is mutual and condescending remarks like that will gain little resolve. I have maybe 5 months experience and I figured a lot of it out because I did my home work, and when I could not find the answer I needed I asked this wonderful community in a respectful manner for help and was welcomed with open arms! Demanding things from volunteers is not a proper way to approach a request for support so put your 30 years aside for a minute and humble yourself. Also there is no one stopping you from adding to the codex unless something has changed recently so you can start taking strides forward by contributing to the documentation in your spare time with no pressure. You can also contribute @anton-naydenoff if you choose to do so. Please keep your composure and don’t worry be happy! š

I was thinking of suggesting something along the same lines and just adapt it for cities
same author @modemlooper .
Seems like this would be simpler to me anyway:
https://gist.github.com/modemlooper/5043768@walid3
It would be helpful to have a list of those 168 cities in your country, preferably as a text document that could easily be pasted into some code.In reply to: BuddyPress Activity Privacy Plugin@megainfo
Hey thanks! I just added the code to the plugins js file and it worked like a charm!
I also fixed the styling in my child Responsive Theme. Its just a matter of adding floats, and margin. On my bp-default child, twenty twelve child, and simplify theme child all work perfect as well!
Again nice job and thanks for the great plugin! In reply to: BuddyPress Activity Privacy PluginIn reply to: BuddyPress Activity Privacy Plugin@megainfo
I forgot to mention this scroll only becomes visible after I activate your awesome plugin but I am sure its probably a quick fix. Thank you again! In reply to: [Resolved] Change avatar crop feature not working@applegateian
I would contact that themes author and explain the situation and see if they can help. I am not familiar with that theme but maybe someone else here may have more insight. In reply to: [Resolved] Change avatar crop feature not working@applegateian
See:
https://buddypress.org/support/topic/when-asking-for-support-2/
You need to supply more info than just what version of BP and WP your using like theme, plugins, etc.
I had this issue once and it was a theme that conflicted with js so if your using anything other than twenty twelve or bp-default then activate one of those instead to test if the crop works and if so then you narrowed it down to a theme.@aliceembroid
Can’t be certain about what would cause this but for starters your using a bunch of outdated plugins and an outdated theme that I believe @modemlooper removed from the repo. You are probably going to have get a theme that is isn’t outdated and uses standard wordpress template structures. With the new compatibility you really wont need the buddypress template pack. I would advise you to read the readme.txt that came with all those plugins as well and the ones that are outdated you need to deactivate each one using the process of elimination and test until you find the culprit, then ask the author for support. If that doesn’t get you any help then you may want to consider hiring a well skilled developer to sort it out for you.In reply to: Anyone know good multiplayer games plugins?@nanaimomen
Why use a plugin? Just google poker and casino games with chat and place the embed code within your WordPress page you want it to display on.In reply to: [Resolved] Admin/Buddy Bar: Where to Edit@kkradel
When copying the code from here the single quotes get converted which makes the code incorrect. Remove that code and copy and paste the code directly from the below link and that should get it working.

You may have introduced some whitespace in the file. Make sure there is no empty lines before or after the opening and closing php tags as this typically does fire off a headers_already_sent error. If that is not it then please supply the error message. In reply to: [Resolved] Admin/Buddy Bar: Where to Edit@kkradel

Why not just use a language file to change the name of the edit link?

I help with support but I am just a volunteer like most other folks. I am not a moderator at all. I just pay it forward for all the folks that helped me in the past. There is no guarantee anyone can fix everything but there is a lot of us that is good at fixing some things. So don’t isolate your issue by requesting help from any single individual. I just checked your site and the pages are blank as you stated. Have you created a custom menu yet to associate those pages with the navigation?
Please review:

Create a user with the username: demo and password: demo. Not to be rude but there is many people here that can help you and I don’t want the total responsibility of helping your issue because there is still things I have yet to learn so please don’t request help from just one individual.@danesensei
Try this technique:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2091168/disable-a-link-using-css
Pay attention to nickf ‘s usage. It uses jquery so if your not familiar with it then you need to study:

Actually it would be more appropriate to start your own topic because hijacking another persons thread is usually frowned upon especially since it has nothing to do with the topic authors support request. Thank you!In reply to: Issues getting Buddypress working,@feeldesign @akukskuks
Deactivate all plugins other than BuddyPress and revert to either bp-default theme or Twenty Twelve and see if the problem persists then report back here. I suspect it is either a plugin, or theme but I won’t speculate. I just know I have not encountered this and I have about 30 installs on my test server, I do not however have that buddyboss theme so I have no way of testing it so its up to you to see if that theme is the issue.
