    We really need more people to start designing themes!

    http://www.Freebpthemes.com has a theme competition running at the moment with some good prizes so hopefully people submit some nice designs!

    Did you change the folder name of the theme or the name within the CSS? or both?

    From your admin dashboard

    – Select BuddyPress from the left sidebar

    – Click Profile Field Setup

    – Setup your profile fields

    Users will then be prompted to fill in this info when they signup

    the WPMU setup seems fine, it works all ok.

    WPMU is setup on its own subdomain just for testing and using folders as opposed to subdomains so we dont get blog.bp.domain.com when setting up new blogs. all that works fine.

    when BP installs i dont see any of the options within the dashboard apart from the plugin. the bp link in the menu works but where is says “disbale components using below form” nothing shows – there is no form to disable the bp components and no profile field options on site admin.

    im trying exactly the same setup on one of my other domains to see if it is related to the host.

    1. no errors

    2. default themes

    3. new config file

    4. yes

    5. yes

    6. this is a brand new install

    7. no other plugins

    only thing i can think of that is different to my other setups is that this is installed on a subdomain, ie bp.domain.com

    @danielfelice

    I have a similar issue – in IE and FF – when I click “newest”, “active” or “popular” it lines up fine, but when the page loads for the first time the members are all over the place and the FB profile pics have a weird border around them which I think is causing the issue. check it out http://www.explorewithme.com

    got this working now

    however I am unable to log out via BP, I have to go to FB to logout

    Are there functions in the home theme that need to be carried across into my custom theme?

    @danielfelice

    You should submit your designs to the Free BuddyPress Themes contest – http://www.freebpthemes.com

    @danielfelice

    I was actually thinking that. I might move everything back a month…that then makes it 2 months for design…

    why not just direct them to another site with BP? The demo BP site is probably a good example…

    A few errors:

    In the dashboard under above each comment i get this

    Warning: Missing argument 5 for fbc_get_avatar() in /home/dansexpo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bp-fbconnect/wp-facebookconnect/fbconnect.php on line 528

    Posting a comment on the wire I get this

    Are you sure you want to do this?

    Please try again.

    that is all for now!
