Thanks for your reply on this post. But actually I didn’t do anything else but to upgrade the version from 1.7 to 1.7.2. Any suggestion on what I should try? I tried to find something to downgrade the version but no success on that.

@djpaul Don’t imagine they do. I do imagine that sometimes the demand can come from users as different from the usual “build it, and they will come” model.

Didn’t you read the requirements? It states clearly it is compatible up to: WP 3.3.1, BuddyPress 1.5.3.1. So until @djpaul has plans or time to update the plugin then I suppose you should not use it if its not working for you. Otherwise if you have time deadlines and you know how to code then the source is there for you to tweak.…[Read more]

Sorry, I forgot to mention this is not a multisite install. Just a single site, so no network to worry about. I’m tempted to download the old version 2.3 of bbPress and test that out tonight / tomorrow morning.

@djpaul of course, you’re on top of this as usual, but have you heard anything from the plugin author about him renaming his function bp_login_redirect() so that it doesn’t conflict with the (now) native buddypress function with the same namesake? I notice that the plugin hasn’t been updated since 5-20-2012.
