In reply to: BuddyPress Login redirects to WordPress Login
One of your other plugins or settings is redirecting to the login page to wordpress.com
You’ll need to disable other plugins or check their settings to find which is doing this.
In reply to: BuddyPress Login redirects to WordPress LoginBuddypress overrides the main wordpress account creation page and the user that is created is also a wordpress user.
Do you have a link to your site?In reply to: Changing Avator Copping Pane in BuddypressHi,
Have you tried a different theme? I can’t replicate the problem on my sites.
In reply to: Backup SolutionI use updraftplus on a few of my sites, database daily and files weekly (excluding uploads) to remote storage and I keep a monthly and 6monthly as they don’t use much space.
Upload folder is synced to different storage weekly and I keep a monthly proper backup. In reply to: Complete Sign Up Button (Color Change)When I’m making changes like this I use the developer tools (F12) to inspect the page and find the css elements required.
You can the modify your custom css file within your child theme or using the additional css sectionof your theme to add in the additional code.#register-page #submit { background-color: black; }The above may work or the elements may be different on your theme.
In reply to: pictures of the users displayedHi,
Whatever is doing the lazy loading is breaking this for you, on your profile page the link which works ishttps://www.vhsfotoclub.de/wp-content/uploads/avatars/18/5ca4f3e4be1ce-bpfull.jpg
on your gallery list the link is
https://www.vhsfotoclub.de/wp-content/uploads/avatar%20lazyloads/18/5ca4f3e4be1ce-bpfull.jpgI’m afraid this is not a buddypress issue.
In reply to: Register link in Login pageHi,
It does for me, have you tried another browser or ensuring you’re not seeing cached version of the page in your browserIn reply to: Deprecated: groups_send_membership_requestI can replicate, could you open a ticket on trac https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/newticket
In reply to: BuddyPress – Emails not workingHi N33d, is there a reason you are not using the sendgrid plugin?

In reply to: Captcha/Text Colour Issue on BP Registration PageIn reply to: Captcha/Text Colour Issue on BP Registration Page.aiowps-captcha-equation { color:black; }I think you can add this to your custom css file
In reply to: Solved – Admin name stays in registrationHi,
Have you tried another browser? This sounds like an autocomplete feature of your browser and doesn’t happen when I open your site.
In reply to: Solved – Too stupid for BuddyPress 6Hey,
I’m assuming you’ve enabled groups in Components and have you tried going to http://yoursite/groups ? There should be a link from Dashboard -> Settings -> BuddyPress -> Pages
I’ve just tested a fresh install of WP, BP 6 and Hueman and all was working.Could be a few things, if you are viewing the pages as Administrator you’ll see the fields. Are you testing as a normal user?
Do you run any form of caching? If you are and you’ve visited the pages as an administrator this could be the cached version that is being shown to normal users. In reply to: subscribers not showing in the listHi,
Members page will only show those who have registered and then logged in, if they have not logged in yet they don’t appear on that page.Hope that helps.
In reply to: Forums Blogs GroupsHi Eric,
WordPress is built to be expanded using plugins, if you check wordpress.org you’ll find there are thousands of these. BuddyPress and bbPress are two of these plugins and they work really well together. As to whether users can create their own blog pages that is up to you and the permissions you assign but the functionality is all there.
In reply to: Solved – Custom home template for user profileHey, would you mind expanding on your fix just in case others have the same problem in the future or maybe the guide could be expanded if something isn’t clear or is missing?
In reply to: logged in user sees wrong person’s profileI don’t think BuddyPress supports page caching as obviously you only want the user to see their own view.
Object Caching should help speed things up though https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/improving-performance/
In reply to: Email issueHi,
Within the Dashboard there should be an Email -> Customize -> Footer that will allow you to edit the footer template for BuddyPress emails. In reply to: xProfile Fields Not Appearing in Your ProfileI’m not sure I fully understand but if this is for writing code you just use the name in single quotes. For example if I had an xprofile field called ‘About me’ I would use
xprofile_get_field_data('About me', $member_id);In reply to: xProfile Fields Not Appearing in Your ProfileAre these fields still empty? They will appear once information is added.
In reply to: Solved – Red cover doesn’t disappear after loadingIf you have better wordpress installed that might be worth turning off whilst testing, that’s the only plugin I know with those initials. As it’s a premium theme it would be worth contacting them for support..
In reply to: Solved – Red cover doesn’t disappear after loadingThe CSS that is causing the issue is bwp_ajax_filter.css, hopefully you can find the source.
In reply to: Solved – Red cover doesn’t disappear after loadingOne of your other plugins is causing the effect I think, there is a pop up asking for me to sign up to a newsletter which seems to be setting the background red so I’d try disabling that first.
