Did you enable forums for that group? Go to Group > Admin > Enable forums.

In reply to: Multisite Activation (WP 3.1 Multisite)== Is it possible to just install a new version of buddypress on each subsite so each subsite will have its own version of buddypress? ==
If you install WP at http://www.yoursite.com/ and go multisite – either http://yoursite.com/subsite1 (for subdirectory) or http://subsite1.yoursite.com/ (for subdomain) – that subsite is what’s meant by a secondary blog. And that brings us back that there can be only one BP instance in main site or subsite of a multisite installation.
In reply to: Multisite Activation (WP 3.1 Multisite)=== So it wouldn’t necessarily be just a secondary blog, it would be every blog created on WP multisite. ===
Understood. That scenario is not possible at this time – only one BP instance in main or secondary blog for multisite installation.
Post this in Jobs Board to get more traction https://buddypress.org/community/groups/bp-jobs-board/forum/
It would also be good if you also post which WP theme you want to make compatible with BPIn reply to: Profile Data in a widget?Which widget are your referring to exactly? BP/WP versions?

In reply to: Buddypress sitewide forumsReason why forums attached to groups https://codex.buddypress.org/buddypress-site-administration/buddypress-forum/
Others have installed WP forum plugins like: SimplePress forums, Mingle forums, WP Forum Server, etc. which works well. However, since the aforementioned forums are not integrated with BuddyPress, the participation in the forums are not recorded in member, group and sitewide activity components.
bbPress, which is integrated as the group forums for BuddyPress, is being configured as a stand-alone WP plugin
https://trac.bbpress.org/roadmap
Not sure how the integration with BP will be though. Maybe someone can chime in about thisThere is a sitewide forums premium plugin that extends the bbPress currently installed via BP as a sitewide forum component. General Info about Global Forums by @sbrajesh here and here

Same as above. Btw, the way, you have only one post so far in this BP.org forum, in this topic …In reply to: Plugin seems 3 times on site (?)@ncpwork, you must have fixed it because I don’t see any triplets in the plugin page.
In reply to: Really basic question== Am I not able to find it because my WordPress is on .com instead of .org? ===
Correct. You cannot add plugins if your site is hosted by WordPress.com.
You can only do so in your own WordPress installation.

What theme are you using – bp-default child theme, custom BP theme or WP theme with BP Template Pack? If you change theme to bp-default theme, do you get a fatal error on activation?
Don’t blame your permissions right away
BP Classifieds is compatible up to WPMU 2.9.2 and BP 1.2.1 only. Unless you’re on those versions, expect the plugin to break in current versions as there have been numerous major code changes since plugin was released a year ago.Thank you @pcwriter, I missed the line about changing core file instead of adding it in functions.php
I think I need to get reading glasses.
