So – I just upgaded to 1.2.1 and thought: give it a new shot… But still doesn’t work Not too bad, because with 1.2 I don’t need the forums anymore (looking forward to a tagged new solution…).

But still it seems strange, that this just happens to me… Maybe I really messed the forums up one time…

I installed 1.2.1., I deactivated every Plugin and every Mu-Plugin – still the same “emptiness” in those groups. I did the same in the other install (the second one, that has that problem – it’s a subdomain-install) and there the problem is also still there…

You stil have access to my install – you can use it and check it – maybe it helps you debug, like the last bug…

Just another thought: On my facebook-twitter-connection it filters out the whole tweet, when it has an @mention right at the beginning. I think that really makes sense, because those are more or less direct-messages. To me, that would make sense, because leaving them in, doesn’t make sense to other people…

Sorry, no it did work – but it took alot longer than 1h…

One other thing: when tweeting an @mention it should Not Show it in BP – otherwise it will be very confusing with the @stuff… I would Filter all the @stuff out – both ways…

yes – I logged in as that user – doesn’t see it. I will try again with the branch… (by the way – any more ideas on this very strange issue: https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/after-update-private-hidden-groups-empty – sorry to use this thread, but it’s important to me )

Hi Andy this is what I did:

Kopied trunk r2766 over the 1.2 stable files. Activated again.

Problem is still there. The one user I know for sure still doesn’t see his blog in buddybar, under “my blogs” etc and it’s not listed in the blogs-directory (but it is set public!!!)

This really sounds great!

I believe – with all your great mockups – that it could make sense to put all of it in a kind of advanced-posting. When clicking on such a button, all the other great possibilities “pop up”

Do I get that right: This problem should NOT appear, if users have created a blog normally themselves (so that they are automatically an admin)?

If that would be the case, it’s NOT maching our troubles. Blogs have disappered for users like that…

Some further Infos: in my other install ( subdirectories) exactly the same…

Strange: some don’t Show content & activity at all but some Show just a few items from a long time ago ( like 9+ months). But there would Be alot more content in the months between!

Argh!

I don’t know why that should be so hard. Isn’t it exactly the function we already have with private messaging? There it works? Couldn’t it be possible to adapt that functionality as soon as someone types @ with anything in front of it (like an Emailadress)?

Two things, while using your plugin a little more:

1. The Name of the activity-owner has a wrong link. It points to faboo.nl (I guess it is hardcoded…) instead of my own site

2. The message “Want to tweet this message to? Check your tweetstream settings.” is not possible to make it disappear, when I don’t want it for all of the users. If you would give it a css-class or something I could just use display:none
