In reply to: Avatar cropping problemThis has been discussed here, and I belive it’s a bug since the release to the latest.
Someone else suggested another cropping tool (which I liked also), but not sure if Andy is going to implement it. I’m not either sure when this cropping bug is fixed completely for anyone using buddypress.
This cropping code is awesome… but not sure how to replace with the default cropping tool on buddypress.

In reply to: Group invite as in XING?Say you create a group called “We love mustard” and I have friends outside of BuddyPress that also love Mustard, that I could request their presence in the group via an email address, and when they register they are auto-joined in the “We love mustard” group?
yup.
In reply to: r1324 with 2.7.1 wp-admin HTTP 500check what exactly? It’s the only “sub” admins who can’t access. Other users and sub-blog owners (admins) can login, so I don’t think file permission matters.
In reply to: BuddyPress in /plugins/ not /mu-plugins/ from r1303+Log in as a site admin, and head to the \”Plugins\” admin panel. You will need to activate each plugin (activate CORE first).
Thanks Jeff. The original instruction was kinda confusing.

wpmu’s default “admin” can visit backend of all blogs.
BUT, those users who are given site-wide admin by the “admin” can’t visit backends.
In reply to: BuddyPress in /plugins/ not /mu-plugins/ from r1303+I’m using the latest, but I had no option to turn on each buddypress plugins. The only option I could use was to activate BuddyPress from plugin administration page.

In reply to: How to make “about me” kinda profile field?Burt’s hack seems not working on the latest r1324 (?)
Even if I paste the code, my profile contents are all hyperlinked.
In reply to: Announcing: Events componentI’d like to translate this into Japanese… when do you plan to create .pot files for this plugin?

In reply to: make bp_create_excerpts work on multibyte charactersJust noticed recent blogs widget uses bp_create_excerpt, but activity widget doesn’t use the function.
Does anybody know some simple code hack to only show activity titles, not post contents?
In reply to: make bp_create_excerpts work on multibyte characterswell, trac is quiet and that’s why I opened this to receive more opinions and ideas.
In reply to: registration moderation ideas? You can configure the question and the answer.
btw, when I enabled openid plugin from wordpress.org, the version 3.2.2 (the latest you can get from wporg), all active accounts of my install got locked out. Of course RPX was already inactive…
FYI.
There’s one for blogs, but not users on wpmudev.
And wpmu has hack for moderating new users, but that touches the core files. Which means we have to do the same thing over and over each time we upgrade wpmu…
In reply to: registration moderation ideas? After 10 times of search and at around 12th or so…I found this…
In reply to: Twitter PluginYou can use Twitter Tools to creat tweets of your new blog post, and it also allows you to tweet from wordpress.
What exactly do you want to be tweeted (tweet? tweeted?)?
If that hack can be done via bb-custom.php, then it won’t be overwritten via upgrades.
