Are you sure that you’ve placed everything in the correct folders? Remember that in the new version of BuddyPress, directory placement & names are different. i.e. buddypress should be found in wp-content/plugins/buddypress. Member theme is wp-content/bp-themes/bpmember. Home theme is wp-content/themes/bphome

Also, if you’re using a custom theme, there are a few changes that must be made to it in order for it to work properly with the new version of BuddyPress.
