I thought about a workaround, because the wire (with the messaging option) is gone in 1.2 (and I still don’t know., what Andy has up his sleeves for a replacement…

What about that: Everybody still gets an email, when the Admin (or Mod?) writes a Latest-News-Update. But in the mail it just mentions that there is an update… It would make alot of sense to me, if the members would get the whole content of the update per email.
What do you think – would that be enough?
