Also can you try opening bp-oembed-config.php and adding your BP domain to the $bp_oembed[‘whitelist]’ array?

If you have BP installed on hxxp://example.com, you would put:

$bp_oembed['whitelist'] = array('<a ','">','<a>','example.com');
