Actually I should have explained better as my scenario is a little different. I have reversed my forums so that all the latest posts appear on page one of a topic. The reply box is at the top of the page also. I want to place an add between the first and second post on a page. For me that would be between the latest and the previous reply.

The order of thing might not matter actaully but I would want the add to be between the first and second post on each topic page.
