@nit3watch – You have to remove the following hook: add_action( 'bp_after_group_details_creation_step', 'gfield_add_field_form' );
add_action( 'bp_after_group_details_creation_step', 'gfield_add_field_form' );
Also remove the conditional that Derek put in.
