thanks for the very quick reply, I really appreciate that!!

I have an additional question:
Is it possible to run user blogs “like frames” (sorry for the expression) -> I mean that in the user blogs the header/adminbar/navigation of the main buddypress installation is displayed? And if not, is it possible that the user blogs are opened in a new window (pop-up) instead of beeing displayed in the same window?
