In reply to: Buddypress "share on mysocialnetwork"In reply to: Buddypress pages show default sidebar only
@zanora BuddyPress uses the theme’s default page.php to render activated BP components. If you want full width for all BP pages, just copy the code from your theme’s page.php file and paste it into a new file named buddypress.php and upload this to your theme’s folder in server. For your reference:

Please post this at the WordPress forums for more assistance https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting
In reply to: Installed, but nothing showingIโm looking at a video on You Tube and my BuddyPress Setting page looks different. …. I donโt have a Forums tab in my BP Settings window.
@mark-gordon That’s an old video. Forums are now installed via the bbPress plugin https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/installing-group-and-sitewide-forums/
Have I got a faulty installation? What am I missing? All help welcomed!
@sencerim Since BP 1.7, BP is compatible with most WP themes i.e., if you go to your site’s Members page for example, you’ll see the BP member directory component on that page. If you’re not seeing the Member’s directory using the slug/page name you used for it, try changing to the BP Default theme in Apperance > Themes and navigate to the members directory page or the component pages you have activated.

@synaptic no worries. Just glad you have this resolved. Marking this topic as such.
@jconti Thank YOU for an awesome plugin and for being proactive in spam prevention for BuddyPress. Two thumbs up ๐

In reply to: [Resolved] Sidebar goes down with Events Manager@snsturki Please change your admin username and password immediately. Your site’s security has been compromised. I’ve deleted the admin username and password you posted above. Do not post admin information in this or any forum.
Issue is fixed in trac ticket.
@willandmae sorry, we prefer to keep the conversation here. As mentioned above, you can always delete or disable the throw-away account when the issue is resolved if not by me, by some other forum volunteer.
In reply to: [Resolved] 404 Error message@jloc14 We need more information about your installation. What theme are you using? What plugins are activated? If you change to BP Default theme, is the issue resolved?
@willandmae Cleared cookies after I logged out. I log in using sidebar log in form easily. Something else is causing the issue with your log in.
Have you tried deactivating other plugins one by one as I mentioned above to identify possible conflict? I’d start off by deactivating BAW Login/Logout menu, clearing cache and then try to log in via sidebar form. You could also provide us with a throw-away username and password so we can check from our end. You can delete that throwaway account when you resolve the issue.
In reply to: Activity plus popup@rameshkanakambr the Activity Plus plugin is specifically for the activity stream pages. Best place to get support for additional functions is at the plugin’s suppoprt forum at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/buddypress-activity-plus
@willandmae @bluecatz Just tested the sidebar log in form of the BP Default theme WP 3.7.1 with only BuddyPress 1.8.1 and bbPress 2.4.1 activated and there is no problem with the log in. @willandmae I get server not found for the link you provided above.
– Basic troubleshooting involves deactivating all plugins except BuddyPress to identify what is messing up your log in.
– You’d need to provide more information about your installations. WP Single or Multisite installation? Is WP installed in domain root e.g. http://www.example.com or in subdirectory (single WP) or in subsite (multisite)? Plugins installed? In reply to: Buddypress plugin for uploading videosIn reply to: Profile and Settings@robg48 BuddyPress links in Appearance > Menus will be default in BP 1.9. So if you’re adventurous …

As for fixing the bug, best person to do that would be the plugin author https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wp-open-graph
In reply to: How to customise the home page for various details?@rkumbhar Simply create a home.php and add widget areas https://codex.wordpress.org/Widgetizing_Themes
Example how to https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-create-new-widget-area?replies=5Then in Appearance > Widgets, add the Members, Groups and bbPress topics widgets in your newly created widget areas and style accordingly
In reply to: The buddypress slide up for my headersomehowe the first on my profil page
@neocsatornaja I see the picture of a full-width profile page but I don’t quite get what you’re asking. What “first” was removed – first sidebar, first header (per tag below)?
WP/BP versions? Theme used? Plugins activated? Site URL?
In reply to: Theme Issues with Buddypress – iFeature theme@neocsatornaja you already started your own topic, please keep to that post https://buddypress.org/support/topic/the-buddypress-slide-up-for-my-header/

In reply to: Reset or Reinstall buddypress default theme@willandmae first time I’ve heard about BP Group Extras causing this kind of issue. Have you tried deactivating all plugins except BuddyPress, bbPress and BP Group Extras to confirm that BP Groups Extras is causing the issues? If it is, please post at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/buddypress-groups-extras to report it to the plugin author.
In reply to: Problems with some plug-in@p91 https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-album/ has not been updated since late last year so and I believe it was compatible with the bp default theme. You’d need to find another album/gallery plugin for your installation.
