In reply to: Real name H2 tag not displaying
@naturalworldstm geez. I would experiment and save the original content-page.php file as content-page-orig.php and then create own content-page.php file containing straightforward html with WP loop and template tags.
In reply to: [Resolved] Registration doesn't workthanks. After a few minutes it worked again.
@caspergrimaldi glad for you 🙂 Cache issue? Where are you hosted?
I posted in a different post about my sidebar.
Post the link to your post about sidebar here and I’ll take a look. In the meantime, marking this topic as resolved.
In reply to: Can't Comment on whats newnow my buddystream has been deleted but it’s still eror in comment.
@lannagung not sure what’s going on but I’ve seen some problems reported with the BuddyStream plugin unfortunately. I would backup database first, go into wp_options table, go into active_plugins and check that BuddyStream is no longer listed there and delete it if still there.
@mulkins2013 change to Twenty Twelve theme and check if post status update works. If not, please start a new topic of your own. In that new topic, provide information about your installation.
In reply to: [Resolved] Registration doesn't work@caspergrimaldi have you tried deactivating plugins (I see a lot activated in your site) one by one on your site to check which one is conflicting with BuddyPress?
@secuip glad you resolved the issue on your own 🙂
Tip: next time, it would be better if you created a new topic for your issue so that it could be seen right away.In reply to: Message Error ShowingWhen I Compose a wrong msg and try to it send
@yatendra16 Something may be getting lost in translation. What in the message is wrong?
After it if I am going on other tabs(activity, friends, groups etc.)
Sorry, not quite clear. Do you mean after you see the error message you get redirected to other tabs or do you mean something else?
This error show there for first time
Where does the error show for the first time? Isn’t it after you send the message? Or when you click on the other tabs?
In reply to: BP Group Management – members list@lorimercer what theme are you using? Change to Twenty Twelve theme or BP Default theme to double-check.
In reply to: "Create Group" button hidden by my themebut I can’t get the “Create Group” button to show
@gebgem the page title is missing as well. Looking at the Sample Page of your site, there was no page title added to the theme’s page.php file at all.
BuddyPress will provide another link/way for users to easily create a group/blog via user account menu in admin/toolbar in next version https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/7062 but the page title issue should be fixed by theme developer.
In reply to: Does not display all users@patrykos360 Your users have to log in at least once after BuddyPress is activated
In reply to: Status message doesn't work@marcusmorais What theme are you using? Change to Twenty Twelve theme or the BP Default theme to check if your can post there.
In reply to: Real name H2 tag not displaying@naturalworldstm BuddyPress uses your theme’s page.php file for Theme Compatibility. If the page title, the_title() , is not within the WordPress Loop, then you won’t see the “Create Blog” nor “Create Group” buttons as well as the Nice Names.
In reply to: How to remove forums tab in buddypress profilethe topic created is not showing any post created by the user in bbpress, only just shows “Viewing 2 topics – 1 through 2 (of 2 total)”. Is there a way to solve this issue?
The topics created by the user should show up. Use Twenty Twelve theme to double-check.

In reply to: Blogs for Groups? Roadmapwill that be the one that is integrated in the future?
@famous scope of BP 1.8 https://bpdevel.wordpress.com/2013/04/25/buddypress-1-8-scope-and-timetable/ and group blogs are not in it
Know that the group blogs plugin I referred to above is the plugin of choice for Group Blogs for “Commons in a Box”, a project of Boone Gorges, one of our Lead Developers.
In reply to: All posting failsLooks like your status updates are working and that you were successful in activating BP 1.7.2 in your site.
In reply to: Members cannot see topic message@sbnuman first time I’ve seen this issue reported. Have you tried basic troubleshooting like changing to BP Default theme and deactivating other plugins except BP and bbPress?

In reply to: The Codex Looks Great!@bphelp have a great vacation. Thanks for helping out in the forums 🙂
In reply to: The Codex Looks Great!Moved topic as requested.
To add code in Codex, you can either use
<pre><code> // code here </code></pre>for something like https://codex.buddypress.org/developer/members-navigation-menus/
or use
for something like https://codex.buddypress.org/legacy/theme-dev-template-pack-walkthrough-twenty-twelve/

@asnakea3 No trolling. If you need help, ask for it and we’ll try to help. As I mentioned in your topic, there are plenty of happy BuddyPress campers. Closing this topic.
