@nomad48 I’m sorry, this issue was not addressed in the latest release. If you have a test installation or a localhost, you can try to apply the latest patch imath posted in ticket to check it out.
In reply to: Buddypress Settings Won't Save?In reply to: Cannot see a profile page on front endWhy is there no page setup to show the profile information?
@vikingpoker You do that from the backend. https://codex.buddypress.org/administrator-guide/extended-profiles/

should I have those folders and file within my theme folder instead?
@robjsinger No. You only need to add the file/s you want to revise and follow the directory structure.

In reply to: what is "Pending" mean?@jessiewordpress in a way yes. Either because the activation email got caught in their spam folder, or they have not clicked on the activation link, or they did click on the activation link but did not log in yet.
In reply to: BP 2.2 Broke Chat and Messenger@hnla added NSFW to them all.
In reply to: Activate & Register page question@lonewolf95665 did you enable registration in Settings > General?
In reply to: Title page removed users and groups@nomad48 Could you check the header.php file of your theme re whether it has
<title><?php wp_title( '|', true, 'right' ); ?></title>within<head> ... </head>
or if there’s no<title> ... </title>tag at all. The ticket I pointed out to is relevant for themes with the second scenario. In reply to: [Resolved] Problem with Update@agentswall You’re welcome. Marking this as resolved.
The Create Groups link has always been in the Groups Directory page, not in the individual groups page. There is also a Create Groups link in the BuddyPress section in the Admin Toolbar which I see you have disabled. You could add the link if you want in the menu you added for logged in users if you need a way for users to find that link if they are not in the groups directory page.
In reply to: [Resolved] Problem with Update@agentswall It’s working now. The “Create a Group” link is now alongside “All Groups” tab.
In reply to: [Resolved] Problem with Update@agentswall problem is that you appropriated the Page you assigned to groups and filled it with posts. Edit the Groups page and remove any content/shortcode you might have placed there.
In reply to: [Resolved] Problem with Update@agentswall If I input a dummy email then I wouldn’t be able to activate the account… unless you have a plugin activated which allows anyone to join without activating. Create something like username: test, password: test123, for example and I will delete it from your post here.
In reply to: Title page removed users and groups@nomad48 what theme are you using? There is an outstanding issue with themes which use the new title feature. Have you you updated that SEO plugin? https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/6107
In reply to: Custom display of sitewide noticesthey’re supposed to show up in the sidebar though, which is done like so
@chlab Curious why you’re not using the Sitewide Notices Widget instead?
In reply to: [Resolved] Problem with Update@agentswall What do you mean disappeared? Do you have a throw-away username and password so I can check it out?
In reply to: Forum page template@gatelli yoursite > Groups > nameofgroup > Forum pages use the page layout of the the groups page template as it is integrated with that BuddyPress group. WP/BP versions? What theme are you using?
In reply to: Adding Copy to Create an Account page@wanderingsoles Just to be clear, you have enabled registration on your site and removed the copy correct? Have you have assigned the Register and Activate pages in Settings > BuddyPress > Pages? Have you tried changing your theme to 2014 or 2015 to check if it’s a theme issue or not?
In reply to: Adding Copy to Create an Account page“Register” page which has a paragraph of copy on it.
@wanderingsoles Remove the paragraph of copy you added to it.
In reply to: Registration Activation@trialsph they should log in first to show up in the directory.

In reply to: [Resolved] How to custom the templates@alesas thanks for posting back with the good news 🙂

That probably was from a very old tutorial or the old BP template pack tutorial. Marking this as resolved 🙂
In reply to: Activity appear two times on activity stream@lucdkny What theme are you using? Have you tried some basic troubleshooting like changing to the Twenty Fourteen/Fifteen theme?
In reply to: [Resolved] How to custom the templatesI tried to get the register.php from the legacy folder and put it in my own theme folder but it didn’t help.
@alesas If you copied register.php from legacy, then you’d have to paste it into yourthemefolder/buddypress/members/register.php Is that what you did?
edit – codex articles which can help you https://codex.buddypress.org/themes/theme-compatibility-1-7/
