Trent, is there a possibility to have another page as homepage as BP-Home, but still be able to point to the BP-Home (for me that doesn’t work with simple adding a home.php file, because then I can’t point to index.php anymore…

Hey bergsten, sounds very interesting. I tried to install it, but maybe I am a dummy… What does the plgin in BP exactly do? Do I have to implement anything else (besides the things mentioned in the readme)?

Is it just in the backend or should there be something in the frontend?

Maybe I do not quite get, what you mean…

I don’t need the sitewide (global) activity, but just to show the activity of my friends (–>the friends activity-stream of the logged in user) in a different place than the profile. Where is the piece of code I would need to do that?

Let’s leave the Meta-Perspective… Does anybody have a solution to a sitewide-search? I do not know why GT-Search Plugin doesn’t work, but I think one should really have a sitewide search-solution. Any ideas at all?

I would like something in that direction, too. A “normal” user, even without a blog, should NEVER be redirected to the WPMU-Backend. Because it is just confusing…

Only if one has to admin it’s own blog, should they see the backend. That would be ok for me .

But maybe that is possible to change somewhere (per example, when the normal WP-Login Screen appears (sorry, I am a Greenhorn, but I am learning by doing and by your feedbacks – thanks for that!!!)

Perfect – except one thing: it doesn’t show me the newest Blog-Entries or Activities anymore in the widget. What could be the reason?

Trent – you are my HERO!!! ( and I am very stupid…). The problem was, that I didn’t really see, that the member-themes shouldn’t be in the THEMES-Directory anymore… Thanks alot!!!

Thanks. I did everything in the readme file. There is a theme I created and the original BP-Member-Theme (as in the download).

The problem is, that none of them show up in the pulldown under wp-admin/wpmu-admin.php?page=bp_core_admin_settings …

I can’t chosse a theme, therefore it cannot show the member-pages…

I think I found out why this is. In the BP-Admin I should chose a Member-Theme… But no Theme at all is showing up there. I can’t chose anything – the pulldown is empty. What did I do wrong or what do I need to change…? Thanks for your help!
