oh that’s strange, as it’s marked as sticky.

Are you looking for something that shows login box on the sidebar? (which is completely not relevent to the topic title, but your post) If so, bp doesn’t offer that.

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

buddypress doesn’t have any forum unless you install and setup bbpress.

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

I think there’s some hack to make certain field non-visible to others, so admin can control. Search the forum and document.

There’s sticky post where everyone posts their urls. Go there, find yourself. If you are lucky, it won’t take time.

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

interesting idea, did you search for wordpress plugins?

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

What does the above function do?

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

some wordpress plugins work with buddypress, did you search for plugins?

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

You will need to install two or more language translations under bp-languages, but you NEVER NEED two buddypress installations.

Please don’t post your jobs here. If you don’t get response, that means they are not available or they may not be aware of your post. Did you message the persons who offer the services?

Search for providers on major freelance site as well, in case those experienced on wordpress can take the job.

Did you reinstall wpmu and buddypress?

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

I haven’t seen any aside from wpmudev. But there’re people who can customize if you pay.

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

This is probably the 3rd post asking about buddypress.org theme. People should search carefully before posting.

There’re millions of css resources and samples on the net, and one can easily create or at least change a part of the theme to what they want. bp has custom.css and site-wide.css system which you can add/override css.

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

impossible in general, but there might be some solution (BUT reinstall is the BEST). If you want to find out more or get feedback, head over to wpmu forum as this questions is not buddypress related.

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

Is that above buddypress account official?

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

I’ve posted before, but is it possible to use postid than postname when creating events, hopefully with small hack?

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

This is a problem on wpmu side, and buddypress is not involved.

Make sure you have setup your virtualhost and followed the instructions when setting up wpmu.

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

um… maybe you should probably go to wpmu forum to get more feedback on this. Make sure you search the forum in case similar problem reported before.

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

It doesn’t give me 404, instead it gives 500 internal server error.

What is SimpleScript? I’ve never heard of it, and to install buddypress, you just need one click from wpmu. You should also provide more information such as wpmu/buddypress versions in use.

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

I also installed the es_ES mo file under /languages.

You must install the bp language files to bp-languages.

It seems you have uploaded bp language files to wpmu’s language folder…

This topic is old, doesn’t relfect the latest release. It would be better to create a new topic, so other members don’t get confused.

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

btw, using this method, I think it’s possible to let users define which xprofile entry is visible only to logged in members, and not to non members. This privacy thing will be added in the core, but I just thought this plugin is a good example of that.

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

wow! this is so cool!

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

unfilteredmu is developed by Automatic, what could be more reliable than that!?

[@takuya Participant 17 years, 5 months ago]

bp has nothing to do with this.

try unfilteredmu plugin.
