BuddyPress.org

For a temporary workaround this worked for me:

buddypress\bp-templates\bp-nouveau\buddypress\groups\single\cover-image-header.php

line 62
<?php echo esc_html( bp_nouveau_group_meta()->description ); ?>

replace with:
<?php echo bp_nouveau_group_meta()->description; ?>
