@jillsays – The process should be identical.
First, you need a deep integrated bbPress install. There are a bunch of tutorials about this; try this one: http://blog.ashfame.com/2010/02/deep-integration-bbpress-wordpress/
Then add the recreate_bb_admin_bar() function from here to your bbPress theme’s functions.php file:
