On my install it defaulted to domain.tld/blog and looking at line 72 of bp-core.php the slug should be blog:-

/* Define the slug for the blog page */

define( ‘HOME_BLOG_SLUG’, apply_filters( ‘bp_home_blog_slug’, ‘blog’ ) );

What theme are you using??
