so i can not use my suffusion theme with BP or any plugins?

I did NOT say that, this is a basic step in troubleshooting we have to establish whether it’s BP at fault or a custom theme. I believe that people do successfully use this Suffusion theme for BP, so you need to persevere and perhaps try the sufffusion support as it does sound like a custom theme issue rather thn BP one.
