@Xevo – i don’t know if it’s due to my bad english, but whether or not you misunderstood what i was trying to say. Please read again – i never said that “polls” are gonna be core, nor said Erich they should be a plugin 
I only mentioned facebook to invalidate the saying that a “User-Blogs-Posts from Front-end”-Feature
should definitely be within Core and are essential to run a Social-Network-website
You can’t generalize such needs, but a poll could show up what most people are looking for.
