Re: WP Dashboard obsolete when using BuddyPress (without a blog)?

Your regualr WP dashboard is used primarily for blog-specific features. You still need it to write blog posts & pages, moderate blog comments, and admin your site.

BP only controls the social networking portions and displays it on the frontend only.
