As mentioned above, BP themes used in BP 1.1.2 are no longer compatible with current BP version. When you activated bp-default theme, it should look something like http://testbp.org/ and that looks good and clean.

@DJPaul, very true. I would have recommended point by point upgrade of BP and WP if it was not “after about a year on mothballs” per @tmcandle ** blush **
