In reply to: Check if current page is the login page
@henrywright-1 Didn’t know you created a special login page. Since it’s a Page you created specifically for login, you should be able to use the regular WP conditional for a specific Page https://codex.wordpress.org/Conditional_Tags#A_PAGE_Page or Page Template https://codex.wordpress.org/Conditional_Tags#Is_a_Page_Template
In reply to: posts are missing content or not showing@lradden going back to your old topic per link you gave above, those missing posts may be related to the issue you had with cforms – unless you have a custom post type plugin specifically used to generate content/posts on that page. While we do not provide support for third-party plugins, looking through the cforms page at http://www.deliciousdays.com/cforms-plugin/ you might need to upgrade to cforms 14.5 if you haven’t yet.

Bravo @chouf1 @imath and @mechanographik !
In reply to: Installation@ghyatt scan of your site shows you’re using HTML in domain root with two physical subdirectories created and a WP installation in each of the subdirectories.
with the later of these affect the first one as far as themes go!
Not sure what you mean by this. But since you have two separate WP installations, the theme you activate on first WP site shouldn’t affect the theme selection in second WP site.

you’ve got to put that code into bp-custom.php which you need to upload to wp-content/plugins/ folder in server as posted here https://codex.buddypress.org/developer/customizing/bp-custom-php/

In reply to: CSS matching for recent active member widget@fitnessblogger Add this to your theme’s stylesheet:
`#sidebar .item-avatar img.avatar {
float: left;
margin: 0 10px 10px 0;
width: 40px;
height: auto;
}`In reply to: Separate Theme for BP@victoryrock do also post what’s in content-page.php file in pastebin.com. To continue with troubleshooting, as hnla said above, what exactly is “not compatible”? Screenshot/s or site url?
In reply to: Separate Theme for BP@victoryrock open up your theme’s page.php file and check if you can see the_title and the_content tags.
If you do see those tags, copy the code of your page.php file, paste into pastebin.com, click submit and post the generated pastebin.com url here.
If you don’t see those tags, then it means that the theme author made customizations to the theme. You’d have to make a copy of your theme’s page.php file and Save As > buddypress.php file. Then ask the theme author to revise that file -> specifically add the_title and the_content tags within the loop. Upload the revised buddypress.php file to your theme folder in server and you should be good to go.
In reply to: posts are missing content or not showingWere you using BuddyPress Courseware?
In reply to: Login does not want to workHave you done some basic troubleshooting like deactivating all plugins including BP and switching to Twenty Twelve theme, then check if log in is working.
@wierzgacz not quite clear. Are you saying you want one user’s favorite page on the home page e.g. Admin’s favorite page always on the home page of the site? Or are you aiming to make it dynamic, i.e., when a user logs in, the user is redirected to their favorites panel of their profile page.
In reply to: Buddypess 1.7 and BBpress 2.3The easiest way would be via CSS. http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20-TECHS/C30.html
In reply to: link to multisite blog@famous many ways to go about it. If your theme supports custom menus, you create a link to that blog.
In reply to: not getting emails when registeringDeactivate BuddyPress and BP plugins then check if users can receive activation email.
In reply to: Issues with 1.7 NOT HAPPY!The only issue that remains is the register page still results in a redirect loop.
@jamiethecomic where does the register page redirect to? If you are logged in and you go to the register page, you will be redirected to home page. You have to be logged out first to reach the register page.

I lost my hope for them due to lack of assistance avail. I hope the communities here on WP are better!
Please know that all of those helping in the WP, BP and bbP forums including even that of Joomla’s forums are all volunteers living in different time zones. If you require on demand support, you’d need to hire a developer at http://jobs.wordpress.net or at https://buddypress.org/support/forum/plugin-forums/bp-jobs-board/ etc.
