I can’t figure out where to translate the text that appears when waiting for the search result to be displayed in Profile Search Forms.
The text is already translated – but I want a different wording.
I use Loco Translate, but I simply can’t find the text “Henter medlemmer af dit fællesskab. Vent venligst”?
Where should I look?

This is the first time I have posted this add-on. The idea behind the site that I want to create is topics for discussion among members, for example, discussing a product or service and expressing an opinion about it, jobs, political matters, etc., such as the idea of forums, but this add-on has a groups section. My problem is with the reinstallation of the Buddypress plugin. Let me explain, a few days ago I downloaded buddypress from my wordpress admin panel, everything went well, it launched, I made my settings after installing the French translation of the plugin. Unfortunately, the problem is that it doesn’t integrate well with my blog’s design, since I’d checked “keep current theme” during configuration.
I did some research on the net and discovered the “buddypress template pack” plugin. I installed it and everything, but despite this plugin, buddypress didn’t integrate with my theme. I racked my brains all day and finally decided to uninstall these two plugins.
The next day, I’m still researching my problem, and miraculously I come across a download pack that lets me integrate buddypress with the theme I’m currently using. I test it locally, and it’s perfect. So I start reinstalling buddypress on my online site, but then it’s a disaster: as soon as I click on “activate” buddypress, I get a blank page, no error, nothing, and no access to my dashboard. So I uninstalled it via my ftp and everything worked again. I tried to install it via the dashboard, manually via my ftp but nothing happened. I’ve cleaned up my database, deleted the BP_ files but it’s still the same as soon as I try to reinstall this extension, no access to my site and I don’t understand why, despite all my research I can’t find it.
Sorry for this long-winded post, but does anyone have a solution to my problem?
Just for the record, the first installation worked fine and I haven’t made any changes to my files since.

Just to be sure we are talking about the same things:
– The Active/Online members legacy widgets were removed from BuddyPress 12.0.0 and moved into the BP Classic add-on as they were deprecated since 10.0.0 (following their migration as block widgets in version 9.0.
– The Active/Online members block widgets are available in 12.0.0 and are (almost completely) translated into french. In 12.0.0 we’ve changed the way we build blocks to use the WordPress way (block.json + wordpress/scripts builder) instead of our “9.0 to 11.0” way (Parcel.js).The below screenshot is showing the Active/Online members block widgets translated into french.
Looking at your screenshot, it looks like you are using a custom translation file and renamed these widgets to “Aupostien·ne·s récemment en service / en ligne”.
I also see that the default block widget title is not translated, I guess WordPress is not supporting translating the attributes described into the block.json file (that’s why I was writing
(almost completely)a bit above). I agree that’s annoying and I’ll probably work on a way to have the default title translated. But, you can customize this title using the Block Inspector from the right sidebar once you activated its display (follow the first arrow in the below screenshot).
So to have the title into french you just need to enter your text into the “Titre” field like I did on the above screenshot. So you can use “Aupostien·ne·s récemment en service” as the block widget’s title for example.

Hi, I just wanted to let people know that German users have a complete translation now on wp.org when they install or update BuddyPress.
(Until yesterday, while the basic frontend was covered, ~1000 translations were missing)

The translation string “All Members <span>%s</span>” from buddypress\bp-themes\bp-default\activity\index.php line 39 is missing in the pot file and cannot be translated in Loco to German.

Hi all,
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to integrate BuddyPress in a multilingual website? In my case, English/French.
We use Polylang for our site, but it doesn’t seem to be picking up the BuddyPress text/strings for translation. So when I switch the language on the website, the profile links are translated like “Howdy, {name}”, “Edit Profile”, “Log out”, etc… but when I click on any of these links, I’m only brought to the English pages.
I think the issue is that Polylang requires you to create an English and French version of the page, but the BuddyPress pages that get created by default when you activate the plugin aren’t editable. How are these page contents loaded? Are they iframes?
In any case, has anyone used this plugin in a multilingual site? If so, how are you doing it? What language plugin are you using?
