“Are your theme files in wp-content/bp-themes/bpmember? ” – YES

they are OUT of buddypress dir

permissions are set right-755

have also upgraded to latest trunk.

I have removed and reinstalled events plugin 3 times.

The content plugin is working but not showing tags and categories
