Sounds more as a phpbb import. Did you use a mod who send a mail ?
forums are bbpress related.
Why a set of 14 mails and not of 15 or 20 ? What is this setting ? Do you use a plugin ? Can also be an old setting from an old and uninstalled plugin. See in wp_option table…
In reply to: [Resolved] Plugin suggestions please1 & 2) xprofile component let you add all fields you need – styling is theme related and on your side css work.
3) buddydrive
4) field values are clickable, this let the user find similar values on others profile.
5) buddypress default dataIn reply to: What happened to these Buddypress Plugins?Did you something wrong with bp-custom.php ?
In reply to: What happened to these Buddypress Plugins? In reply to: [Resolved] No button for finishing registrationGlad you got it finally !
In reply to: profilesis there a way that you know of?? No, sorry.
First and last name figuring in display_name col in wp_users table. If you have only a few members do that directly in the DB.
In reply to: New problem i havent seen before?Follow Henry’s wise advice. 😉
In reply to: Relocate member pagesThe username as subdomain ?
If you’re on a multisite install, you can probably do that by allowing each user a blog.
But are you sure you want to do this ?In reply to: New problem i havent seen before? The problem is with the hiding of activity comments
How did you hide activities comment ?
Default wp/bp install let you add 5 (nested) comments only. And all comments are shown on SWA. If you have 100 you have to scroll them, yes.
I’m unable to reproduce your issue.Try this bp settings:
check profile syncing
check activity stream commenting for blog and forum
check automatically check for new itemswp discussion settings
uncheck Enable threaded (nested) comments
uncheck Break comments into pagesIn reply to: profilesIf you created additionnally first and last name fields, it’s useless somehow, but i don’t think that it is related to your issue. Or only if you create those fields with an extra function related to the user table.
You have nothing to loose to remove them and give a try to your profile by using only the default name fields.
Username | Password | Email| ( wp part)
NAME (bp part)
The important thing to know is that the values of this 4 fields are stored in wp_users table.Any other profile field values are stored in _bp_xprofile_data table even if you create 20 first name or last name fields on the default showing BASE group.
What you can do is to give some guidance in the NAME field description, such as: enter here your first name and last name. Alas without any waranty that the user will follow your advice.
It’s exactly the same problem for the original wordpress “username” field. Some enter Bobby as username and John Doe into the name field (wow! correct !). Others do the opposite and others enter StupidCow in both fields. 😉
In reply to: Plugin for Custom User Profile PageThis a question for the plugin author ! See also the support.
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/music-player-5In reply to: Plugin for Custom User Profile PageIn reply to: [Resolved] How to display after group nameYou’re using hueman theme and you have to modify page-title.php to alter the template.
Make a child theme and do your changes in a copy of that file.
For example:
<h2><?php echo alx_page_title(); do_action('what_ever'); echo ' my_text_as_example'; ?></h2>In reply to: [Resolved] How to display after group nameyou will find other action hook in bp-legacy/buddypress/groups/single/group-header.php
In order of appearance:do_action( 'bp_before_group_header' ); do_action( 'bp_after_group_menu_admins' ); do_action( 'bp_before_group_menu_mods' ); do_action( 'bp_after_group_menu_mods' ); do_action( 'bp_before_group_header_meta' ); do_action( 'bp_group_header_actions' ); do_action( 'bp_group_header_meta' ); do_action( 'bp_after_group_header' ); do_action( 'template_notices' );Pregnancy calculator: https://wordpress.org/plugins/calculatorpro-calculators/
For children developpement, i guess mothers can/want do this without plugin. 😉

Leading to a tutorial after their first login is also not the best. How do you know it is the first login attempt, if a user modify his session, erase cookies ? Not all surfers keep browser history… or disabled JS ?IMHO the most simple thing to do, is to add a link to the tutorial on the register page with some description. And to add a tutorial item to one of your site menu.
In reply to: profilesAbout the BuddyPress NAME field.
verify that you have pretty permalinks enabled and activate/deactivate/re activate (and save)
Allow registered members to delete their own accounts in BP settingsask the plugin author !
Or see here: https://codex.bbpress.org/shortcodes/Since 2.0 you can use bp_parse_args to filter templates
This topic is outdated and accordingly to what mercime mentionned in the first post, it is also the reason why this tread is now closed.
