What about this problem, I cant login to my site on my smartphone. when i was able to login about a month and a half ago, the buddypress activity plus, and buddypress share it didnt show up on the phone. what could be the issue? I have deactivated all the plugins
No, we don’t have any. We don’t even have Buddypress on the site yet installed.
I know you *want* it the other way around (which I am going to advise against in due course) but I need to know if you currently use Group Forums or have existing Group Forum content! 
@charlietech I believe I’ve seen you post the same issue in WP forum and here some time ago. The issue is with the Suffusion BP pack plugin, please contact the theme/plugin developer.

Actually, it’s the other way around. We need to move stuff into Buddypress. We don’t even use Buddypress yet. We are going to install Buddypress from scratch and are thinking of moving the bbPress Forums/Topics/Replies into Buddypress Groups/Forums/Topics/Replies.
We have tested the bbPress/Buddypress integration and we can see that when someone posts inside the bbPress forums, it shows up in the Activity stream of Buddypress. What we are thinking though, is to move completely into Buddypress.
You need to install/activate the BP template pack plugin to make WP theme compatible with BuddyPress. I don’t know if the JS conflict has been fixed with Canvas already, but here’s what we tried to work out before https://buddypress.org/community/groups/how-to-and-troubleshooting/forum/topic/woo-canvas-child-theme-customization-and-ajax/
EDIT – at end of that page http://labzip.com/shop/canvas-child-theme/ which claims compat with BP. I would suggest before any purchase that you make sure it’s compatible with latest BP and WP pages.
@bjwangschowe Yes, for BP, it is Admin and everything else. There’s of course the Group Admin/Mods which are limited to the Group Forums only.
You can have 1 BuddyPress per WordPress network (a standard multisite gives you one network). You need to enable it sitewide, and set up the configuration from the root blog (the blog with ID = 1).
You do not need to enable multiblog. I wish that setting didn’t exist.
Do you currently use Group Forums or have content in Group Forums that you need to migrate to bbPress?
Ok, I figured it out.
First, I enabled Muliblog https://codex.buddypress.org/developer-docs/bp_enable_multiblog/
Then I found that I needed to run Buddypress setup on each of the sites in the network, and I was able to have it create pages automatically for me.
Note that the Buddypress installation isn’t really separate for each blog, it’s just shared.
Has anyone actually created a plugin for this? I’d really like one.
If you’re going to re-open such an old topic without any new information — what emails that BuddyPress sends do you want to add attachments to? What’s the use case?

To update, I’ve set up a localhost using XMAPP on OS X. Still trying to sort out some issues with the Buddypress install – am getting a “Object not found” 404 error when clicking on links from the home page.
@neekolaus – you can build a directory site with reviews on top of BuddyPress.
http://plazaa.de (built by Poolie) and http://enterprisenation.com (our own work) are good examples built on BuddyPress.
You would use WordPress custom post types to model the studios, with BuddyPress handling the user accounts. The custom posts types can be integrated with BuddyPress based profiles giving you a seamless experience. For ratings / reviews, GD star rating is one of the more complete plugin solutions.
Unfortunately, it’s not something you could tackle with basic web development skills – it would require fairly advanced PHP, WordPress, BuddyPress knowledge. We’ve built a number of bespoke directory type sites, but I don’t know of anyone providing a good ‘off the shelf’ solution (yet!!).

Can you tell what plugins you are using on your site?
BuddyPress only works on one blog, blog id 1. You need to create pages that will show directories for each BP component on that blog. You do not need to create these pages on every blog. BP will register content created on other blogs in your MU install and add posts to the activity stream.

I increased the memory limit and still the same problem. I am using wootheme’s Canvas theme, a compatible theme. If i switch the theme back to the Buddypress theme, it all works.
