If you’re using the buddypress theme you could add as left-coloumn widget, the activities’ widget. Simpler than that!
I have installed a few different plug-ins for wp-mu, neither have seemed to work when using buddypress.
Maybe I should make sure I edited/installed/configured them right, think I did though…
Topic: Template activation error
Installation went great on wordpress mu and putting in the files for BP was a cinch. WHen activating the theme, I get the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: bp_sitewide_activity_feed_link() in /nfs/c01/h02/mnt/13175/domains/aigadfw.com/html/community/wp-content/themes/buddypress-home/header.php on line 12
Any ideas on where to start fixing this? Thanks,

Topic: Blank Admin Plugins Screen
Not sure if this is related to Buddypress, or if this is a WordPress MU 2.7 issue.
When logged in as admin, my attempt to go to http://www.domain.com/wp-admin/plugins.php results in a blank page in any browser.
I have set full permissions for both plugin folders, plus the plugins.php file itself.
I might be taking this fight to MU forums, but I wanted to see if anyone here had similar issues.
While I wait for everything to be out of beta, I put up a temporary site and exported all my data from my production site into a development site to see how my site might integrate with buddypress. The main page seems to be working properly in all it’s functions. The issue I have is nothing else seems to work. Can’t go to any pages,

* Members
* Groups
* Blogs
I get this error on every one: “Not Found, The requested URL /members was not found on this server.”
I’m not sure if this is because I exported a .com site and moved it over to my .net development domain or what. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Topic: Photo Plugin ETA
I know when developers and coders get asked this but i figure i’ll ask anyway.
Wondering when the photo plugin might show itself. I read that current components need to be stable 1.0 versions FIRST, and I completely agree. Wondering on a reasonable guess for a ballpark time – end of Jan 09 perhaps? Got some clients interested in buddypress, but all would want photo functionality. And no since hiring a developer or doing this myself, since Andy will do a much better job right around the corner.
And if anyone knows of a temp way of getting photos into BuddyPress, feel free to discuss here. Might be useful for the group.
Topic: limit 1 blog per user
I’ve read on a few different wpmu forums how to edit the wp-signup files so it’s possible to limit ONE blog per each member.
Is there a way anyone knows how to limit this in buddypress? So when a member tries to create another blog it is disabled, (if they already have a blog)?

Just got the basics up and running. I want to do some serious changes to Groups but I don’t know if I am going to be able to(time and skill wise) This is just a little experiment that I have on my linux box at home in my free time
but I would not have gotten this far without wp/bp.I had to lol since I never noticed #2 before as I was logged in with “admin”
