ParticipantI changed my search terms and founded this:
https://buddypress.org/support/topic/how-do-i-delete-item-in-account-menu/
I applied the changes to remove the nodes ‘my-account-forums-favorite-topics’ and ‘my-em-events’. Furthermore, following the complete WP class guide I realized I can change the “href” of the links too…
However, thank you all for the great job you do…
The thread can be considered [solved]…

Participant@wmsmart Just some advice but I think if you placed the topic on:
https://bbpress.org/forums/
You may get more help.April 4, 2013 at 9:42 pm #159937In reply to: [Resolved] member favourite topics issue

ParticipantSorry, i used the wrong characters….
…The link to SITE_URL/members/USER_NAME/forums/favorites/ from the top right menu (member’s toolbar menu) goes nowhere… It points to a non-existing page.April 4, 2013 at 9:19 pm #159932In reply to: Seeking testers for Spam Destroyer

Participantper default WP does not allow to use special characters in usernames.
As this is typically a WPissue, it’s better you search on wordpress.org forum
FYI, BP doesn’t manage registering, it only shows a form.April 4, 2013 at 8:33 am #159862In reply to: IP and Email Addresses Showing in Dashboard Comments

Participant@alice-claire This isn’t really a BP issue as it’s WP comments it will happen whether BP is activated or not. Really you need to seek answers on the WP support forums, there is probably a workaround to remove that data using a filter.

bp-help
Participant@flixya4gabby This is a pretty old thread. Try starting a new one instead of going through these old threads as things have changed and what might have worked a year ago may not work with the new versions of the software because of code changes etc. At least from my experience it doesn’t go to well. Just a piece of advice!

ParticipantUpdate: I added “Change style” button to theme website. Now you can see how buddypress or bbpress pages are changing when you change theme style.
Example BuddyPress Profile page:
http://theme.firmasite.com/members/unsalkorkmaz/profile/Dark style of same profile page: http://theme.firmasite.com/members/unsalkorkmaz/profile/?style=cyborg
Example bbPress forum:
http://theme.firmasite.com/support/forum/theme-support/Just change style from top-right and see the magic 🙂

Participantnot sure what you need. This button IS near Join Group !
in bp-default theme, are 2 reference to “New Topic”
/forums/index.p:23 (showing a link under Forum Directory title)
/groups/single/forum.php:19 (showing above topics list)And in bp-default/functions.php: 132 you have the do_action code who shows the button beside the Join Group.
add_action( ‘bp_group_header_actions’, ‘bp_group_new_topic_button’ );If your theme doesn’t use bp-default functions.php, put this do_action in your theme’s functions file

ParticipantThink maybe you ought to address questions about the bbPress plugin to the bbpress forums, you’ll likely get a more informed response there.

Participant@mercime thanks, makes everything a lot more simple by disabling the discussion component on buddypress. I also had a bug when activating ONLY the group forums with buddypress, for some reason it broke the group avatar uploader however this was fixed when I installed the site wide forums as well.
