MemberI cant get this to work either, followed it to the letter.
Altho it is not clear on where you put this “my-plugins” folder. Or is that a spelling mistake?
Cant get it to work in the mu-plugins folder either

MemberThat’s fine.I am sorry .. was just trying to give maximum information possible for someone to help me.
BTW I know about the wpmu forums and I had already posted a topic there. I just wanted to be sure that these errors are not due to some bp bug or something.
Thanks anyways!

ModeratorNot only http://demo.cosydale.com/ but, yes. I don’t know what’s the problem, why I get this white page. But after reloading (some times) everything is ok (sometimes). It’s all after I’ve updated to 2.7 MU trunk 1585.
But on cosydale.com was the same problem (I temporary deleted BP from there). Could be any suggestions?

ParticipantThese are your programming problems or your mu configuration problems not related to bp. Try the mu forums.
https://mu.wordpress.org/forums/
Posting massive error logs to a forum doesn’t help. It just annoys the people who might have helped.
If you had started out giving an overview of your problem and how it relates to bp, you may get better results next time.

ParticipantYou do not have mu setup and configured correctly. Until you do nobody will be paying any attention to your other problems. They are probably all related to the fact that mu is not working. Get mu working and then install bp. Please see the mu forums for help installing, configuring mu.

ParticipantWhich ‘toolbar’ are you talking about. We have three that might be the one you are talking about. We have the ‘member adminbar’ which has ‘my account’ ‘my blogs’…, the member and home theme ‘button bar’ which have ‘news’, ‘groups’…
In all cases you have to modify the code or develop a plugin to make additions or modifications.

ParticipantAny normal WPMU plugin that actually ties into the signup process would work. I haven’t looked in awhile, but I am thinking it was probably found at http://wpmudev.org/plugins/ or from a search on WPMU support forums. Hopefully Andy will see the thread and tell us what plugin he used!

ParticipantCongrats on the new community, but for now i only have the time to monitor this particular forum. I imagine BuddyPress resources are going to be popping up in the next few months. You may repost it over there if you wish.

ParticipantAre you talking about http://demo.cosydale.com/ ? I can’t even access the group to find out what the problem might be. Somewhere you are getting fatal errors and pages with “white page of death”.

ParticipantI would be interested in this as well. I have figured out how to expand the settings on BuddyPress profile pages. It would be great to allow users of BP to actually go into “settings” (because profile is public), edit their social settings, and then display the feeds on a seperate BuddyPress page, widget, or (even better IMO) a new BuddyPress component. I just posted about this in the forum a few minutes ago.

ModeratorTrent, its doesn’t work for me. I’m sure that I did everything right. Thу result is:
I can’t create any topics via Group forum.
I can’t post in already existing topics (I created them manually in bbPress).
I’ve read all topics in this forum – nothing helped me. Any ideas?

ParticipantTrent, the reason the RSS widget doesn’t work is the links go to the forum installation instead of take the user to the Group forum page. I assume the bbPress plugin is the same.

Participantas i said..
use feed or seach for bbpress plugins, as trent plugin..
but i think that creating a plugin to include in user/group a feed box that shows last item published on a feed is useful, for example, inserting a twitter account feed will shows last twits on profile,
yes i think tomorrow i will work for it..
